What a beautiful place! So peaceful. If you want to truly escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this is definitely the place for you! The park itself is very well set out, I had a private garden with table, chairs and an outdoor log burner. It's very clean and well kept at all times. I stayed for a week and didn't have any issues. On arrival I walked into an idyllic farmhouse setting and was greeted by a lovely little dog, who was closely followed by Liz, one of the owners. I was shown to Kitty, a truly beautiful 1960s caravan. Clean and well kept with washing up liquid, washing up cloths, tea towels and kitchen towel provided. Liz asked if I'd managed to get any food on the way, and when I said I hadn't she popped off and returned with a tray laden with fresh crusty bread, butter, marmalade and everything needed to make plenty of tea! Just what I needed! Both Liz and Mike were amazing hosts, recommending local places to visit, making sure I knew the way by giving me a map and drawing the routes for me. Also offered to come and get me if I got lost!Liz even drove me to the supermarket and to the coach when it was time to return home.(But there is a regular bus from the top of the road so getting about is not difficult.)Both Liz and Mike made me feel so comfortable, it really was like home from home. They both made time for a chat every evening, or as and when we happy campers returned from whatever adventures we'd been having that day. And there truly were adventures to be had! From following country lanes, to paths across fields, to the astounding views to be seen all along the coastline. The local people are also very friendly, recommending places to visit, and showing me the shortcut paths to other places that I hadn't yet been to. I visited the lighthouse at Lizard point, and for a small fee went on the most interesting and amusing tour of the lighthouse. Standing in the top of the lighthouse with the whoosh of the lens turning, looking out for miles over the sea is an experience not to be missed. It's from here you can join the coastal path to Kynance Cove and beyond. The walk is just full of stunning scenery.I highly recommend visiting Little Trevthas, its a well kept, very friendly, homely place to be. One of the highlights for me was when Henry-a rescue Cockerell- hopped up on my lap for a cuddle. I cannot praise Liz and Mike enough. They're wonderful hosts who keep a peaceful holiday park in a beautiful party of the country. Amazing! Five stars are really not enough! I'll definitely visit again.
