Our second time here really enjoyed it again. Would happily return Really relaxing really calm and peaceful. Fishing was lovely owners are lovely just a lovely overall freindly vibe

We had a fantastic stay at the fishery, we stopped for 2 nights in a glamping pod for a very reasonable price and we took our two dogs. The site is very clean and well looked after. The pod we stayed in was very spacious and had all facilities we needed. The fishing was excellent, very well stocked pools, it would be impossible to leave with dry nets. The owners were very nice too. Wes recommend to anyone, and we actually have, with my brother arriving the following weekend.

We had a lovely long weekend getaway to Janson Fishery. The place was clean, well described, and good value for money. There was plenty to do in the surrounding areas such as skydiving, walking, markets, shops. The pod could of done with some basic cleaning equipment and the sofa was a little uncomfortable but other than that we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Excellent fishing as always our 3rd visit with dog and very friendly staff always look after you nothing to much trouble. Pods are very comfortable and dog loved it too ideal for fishing and relaxing . Pods could do with a little attention now looking a little tired in places but overall a lovely stay once again will return soon.

We stayed in a pod and fished each day, it’s fantastic for price. Everything you need is there, and the staff are like family, so friendly and helpful. The setting is so beautiful you feel so relaxed. The lakes are great to fish. The shop on site for fishing tackle is well stocked too. I would highly recommend.

I was in the area on a course for work and I was looking for places to stay overnight, I found the Fishery on Google maps and booking a stay was straight forward.When I arrived I was met by a lovely lady who showed me to where I was staying and where I was allowed to fish. The glamping pod was lovely and would be plenty enough to stay much longer than I did.The fishing was very fun and simple, I caught multiple species I hadn't yet touched although if you are looking for a challenging fishing spot with cunning fish then the caravan lake isn't for you, however it was great fun and would definitely be a good way to get people into fishing because they are guaranteed to catch with the simplest of set ups.In total I caught 29 fish spread across a few hours in the evening and morning, I caught common, Mirror and crucian carp, as well as Tench, Barbel and chub.I would definitely return to janson Fishery if I was in the area and maybe try some of the larger specimen lakes.
