I was most impressed by everything on the site. My family have their own touring caravan and stay at Hillcroft regularly so I hired a glamping pod for myself to surprise the grandchildren. It was 10/10 modern, spacious, clean and cosy. the bed was so comfortable and with heating I was warm all the time. My grandson stayed with me and really enjoyed it. The only thing I think it needs is a small tv but everything is catered for and I will definitely be returning next year

We stayed here for 3 nights as a family, enjoyed every minute! Well worth the money for the glamping pods, everywhere clean as always, will definitely be back next year! Also thanks to the lovely maintenance man who was always around when needed with his little spaniel

Lovely site, friendly staff, very clean accommodation. Only potential improvements to upgrade to excellent would be a bar/restaurant on site & some football goals ! 😀Great location as within walking distance of Pooley Bridge & several nice walks

We just came back from a visit at Hillcroft Park and can’t fault anything! Despite it being quiet due to our visit being midweek in October the park was soo clean and tidy. We loved our glamping pod it was so cosy and again so clean on our arrival. The site is an ideal location and very close to Pooley Bridge with pub restaurants just a short walk away, its also an ideal location for many of the walks in the areaWe will definitely be returning

We absolutely love this place, clean and tidy , staff very helpful. We used to have a static on site but just use the Glamping Pods now the kids have grown up and it’s only the 2 of us . Although we have ensuite facilities in the pods, I have used the washroom before and it’s the best I’ve seen. The village is less than a 10 minute walk with all the shops, pubs and restaurants, perfect , and about a 15 minute walk to Lake Ullswater.

Our glamping pod surpassed our expectations! It was lovely and clean, the bathroom was a great size with a really powerful shower and the bed was SO comfy. Having the kitchenette was really useful and the full size fridge was a bonus. Despite being there during storm Amy, we still got the opportunity to sit on the decked area which was surprising sheltered. It’s only a very short walk into Pooley Bridge and a great base to access the many amazing hikes in the area. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 2 nights glamping. We have never tried it and didn’t know what to expect, we were not disappointed. The park is well kept, clean and tidy. Located in the beautiful village of Pooley Bridge. The village has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
