Had a lovley family gathering and seen beautiful places kids loved the lakes and spent lots of time in the water .the village is lovley lots of places to relax and at night sat round together with barbecue and drinks .overall one of the best camp sites ive stayed ...definitely will be back .

The area the site is in is absolutely stunning, next to a lovely little village. Albeit a tourist trap with prices. But still stunning. The site itself is lovely, fantastic facilities and very well maintained. Pizzas on site and breakfast food from the food truck. Pizza looked fantastic but didn't eat any. We stayed in a basic pod which was fine, it had a balcony which was a little tired with varnish peeling off and a broken spindle but I'm picking holes here. We'd definitely go back, great site beautiful area

We stayed for 2 nights in a camping pod.Staff were so welcoming and polite. Site was beautiful, clean and in a fantastic location.The town was stunning with amazing views of the river. Wish we had booked for longer as still so much to do.

Our first time in the Lake District and certainly won’t be the last. Hillcroft was the perfect site. Everything was looked after to a high standard, the staff were so friendly, especially the wardens. The shower and toilet block were immaculate. We can’t wait to come back!

Great facilities, lovely clean park. Would have liked a campers area such as a small room to use a microwave, kettle as other sites have had this and is useful when having younger children. Pooley bridge has lots of choice for food, necessities . Great location for the lake/activitsuch as paddleboarding. Pizza night is great but would have liked this to be offered on more than a couple.of nights

Would definitely recommend the site for families or couples Even for your self. They don't have to change anything to improve their standards.

Brilliant from start to finish, booked again as soon as we got home! Everywhere is immaculate and nothing is to much trouble for the friendly staff, highly recommend

We stay at Hillcroft every year in the camping pods. The site is exceptional, with a play area & plenty of room.for the kids to explore & play safely. The shower block and facilities are cleaned often & always well.stocked. There is a well stocked shop & Pooley Bridge is a short walk away. The pods themselves are clean & perfect if you're not a tent person! Great value for money too! I'd definitely recommend Hillcroft to anyone!!

Had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and very modern. Location was awesome for walks into Pooley Bridge and up Arthur's Pike.

Absolutely lovely campsite, very family and dog friendly the communal facilities are of an excellent standard. The campsite shop has all of your basic needs. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are a variety of options such as glamping pods, camping pods and tent pitches to suit everyone’s needs. They have a large recreational area for games, dog walking and a park for young children. This campsite is perfectly located within a five minute walk from Pooley Bridge village which dog friendly everywhere and has some delightful pubs and shops. This area and this campsite is one of my most favourite places to be and we have been going every year for the last 10 years. I would recommend this campsite to anyone.
