Loved my second stay here! It’s in a brilliant spot with lots of lovely walks starting straight from the site, which made walking my dog an absolute joy. The town is super convenient too, with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great getaway!

We have been coming here several times a year for quite a while now, and we always stay in the pods. It’s such a peaceful and quiet site, which makes it the perfect place to relax.For me, the facilities are really important, and I can honestly say they are impeccable. You have the option to hire your own private bathroom, but even the shared showers and toilets are exceptionally clean. We have never had a single complaint about them. So, if you’re unsure about booking because of the facilities, don’t worry — you definitely won’t be disappointed!The staff are also absolutely brilliant — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The site is dog-friendly too, which is a big bonus for us.The location is fantastic. It’s only a short walk to Pooley Bridge, and if you enjoy walking and hiking, there are some beautiful routes nearby. You can even walk to Arthur’s Pike, where the views are absolutely fabulous!We’re already planning to come back again soon. We love staying he

Stayed here at the end of August with family and friends. It is a very impressive site with spotless facilities, gorgeous views and friendly hard-working staff. We stayed in a camping pod which was ideal. We would definitely come again and recommend it to others.

Clean facilities in shower block with lovely nature sounds wasn’t keen on the very fast showers felt like hot pins not a relaxing shower sorry. Playground very good and breakfast/ pizza van very good. Staff very friendly especially the cleaner we had a lovely chat with. Had lovely views and nice seeing the red squirrel. A nice 10 minute walk to poolie bridge very nice stay for a short break.

We booked to stay in a basic pod for two nights to meet friends camping. The pod is basic but warm and clean. The campsite is beautifully maintained and cleaner than any other we’ve stayed on. The toilets and showers are fantastic, warm and clean with a decent sized area so you could shower children also. Both ourselves and friends booked for a longer stay with a tent on two pitches for next year as we left as we loved it so much.

3 of us stayed at Hillcroft in July 2026. Right from arriving we were really impressed with the speed and welcome of the reception staff. The lady was excellent who gave us all the information and our pod keys. The pod was clean and everything we expected. The facilities on site were spotless and modern. We will definitely stay again when we get the chance👍

Really nice site, toilet and shower block best ive seen. Really liked the facilities for my pet dog too, dog shower if needed, water bowls around site, hooks to tie them up outside toilet and around pod, which made it easier when been on my own.The only thing id recommend is the tree been trimmed outside of pod, blocked sun, but would mot stop me returning to site.
