We had another amazing time at Hillcroft with our grandchildren. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The site is immaculately clean and the showers and toilets are gleaming. The playground is safe in every way however there is still plenty of adventure to be had.We took part in the Charity event which was fabulous, the food and entertainment was enjoyed by all. We will be back soon to make more memories.

I felt very let down upon arrival to find there was no furniture within the camping pod. I know I am guilty of not reading the small print but when I booked it there was no obvious notice warning about there being no furniture.I feel even in subsequent emails there needs to be something about it being unfurnished. Part of my assumption that it would be furnished was the price. £70 for a wooden tent is - in my opinion - very steep. I don't think I'll be back - other issues was noise levels from other residents drinking into the small hours. The toilet facilities were excellent though so top marks on that.

We had a lovley free days away at hillcroft special shoutout to the livley lady who opened the games room for my 2 children it was really appreciated exceptionally clean and very well maintained grounds and washing facilities the views are just stunning we often go to the lakes and will definetley be booking again to stay a bit longer this time Also a thankyou to wake and surf just down the road for paddleboarding on the lake it made the kids break away and definetley worth a visit if you are staying at hillcroft My son has adhd and this place is perfect for him not to big to get himself lost bit big enough so he can run about and have a walk by himself just perfect

Would probably put a picture of the inside of your pods other than the top of the range. It was not clear that no bedding actually meant no beds either. The situation was superbly resolved with no fuss and we had a wonderful weekend thank you

Stayed in a camping pod which was extremely clean and well kept. The site itself was excellent! Clean, well kept and excellent facilities and staff....already booked to return.

Stayed in a pod, site and staff are excellent. Short walk from Pooley Bridge and ullswater. Will definitely be back.

We booked a camping pod as a last minute trip, upon arrival we were very impressed how well maintained the park was. We arrived at our pod and were shocked at how big it actually was & had everything we needed plugs, information leaflets, coat hook, blackout blinds.These pods are also very well insulated it's the first time we've been camping and never been cold.We are a family of 5 and had 3 very small dogs and all fit in the pod no problem we left our extra bags in the car to give us space for the beds.Loved that the pod had the fence around so handy for the dogs.The toilet and shower facilities are immaculate very well maintained definitely the best ones I've ever used on a site.We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others. :-)
