Our second time staying in the castle pods, beautiful accommodation in a beautiful place! Staff were lovely as always. Special thanks to the new staff that started and invited me and my partner to feed the animals on the farm. (I think the lady’s name was Lisa, not sure about the gentleman sorry!) but overall a lovely stay again. Thankyou!

Would really struggle to say anything negative about this place. Great glamping pod with everything we needed. Very private, surrounded by beautiful views and countryside. Lovely helpful, friendly staff .

The castle pod was spotless, and had everything we needed. I went for my 60th and opted for the birthday package, and it was lovely and all waiting for us when we arrived. On top of this, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

Very friendly staff. The pod was very clean and well equipped. Ideal for our 2 night stay and close to walk part of Hadrians wall. Will definitely return on our next Scotland trip .

We had a fantastic stay at Herding Hill Farm. The pod was spotless, cosy, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The private hot tub was the highlight of our stay – clean, well maintained, and perfect after a day of exploring.The site itself was peaceful, beautifully looked after, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The facilities were excellent, and the surrounding area offered plenty of lovely walks and attractions to visit.We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the site is, making it easy to enjoy the trip with our cat. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and great value for money. We would definitely recommend Herding Hill Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping holiday and would happily return in the future.

The site is on a beautiful location - easy access to Hadrian's Wall and the town of Haltwhistle - there are plenty of places to eat locally and of course you have cooking facilities in the Castle Pod The staff were very friendly and very helpful The Castle Pod is beautifully equipped - however, please be mindful (as shown on their website, the bed, whilst very comfortable is in a position where only one side is accessible - so, if, like us, you are of an age where you may need to get out of bed in the middle of the night, dont be the one that sleeps against the wall!!The hot tub was absolutely lovely, but the view from the tub was looking directly at the pod in front of us - somewhat of an eyeopener when the people in that Pod were undressed and going into their shower! The glass is frosted so only the persons silhouette can be seen ......but neverthelessIf you are booking a Pod, ask for a front row one so that your view is uninterrupted

Stayed 4 nights between Christmas and new year in the dog friendly castle pod absolutely lovely pod had everything needed. Hot tub was lovely despite the freezing temperatures 🥶 outside and underfloor heating inside was lovely. A lovely setting with a lovely little farm and dog friendly. Will return again for sure!

Stayed in a Castle pod for two nights for my husbands 60th. The pod was immaculately clean, warm and well equipped with everything we needed.The hot tub was lovely and warm and a nice treat.One small addition we'd recommend is a squeegee for the shower.Weve stayed at Herding Hill many times with our caravan and you always get a warm welcome from the friendly wardens.Well placed to visit many places including NT properties such as Wallington Hall and Gibside. We also visited Corbridge which has some nice independent shops.We'll definitely be back.

Our Castle Pod accommodation was great (particularly enjoyed the hot tub). Excellent dog field.The local area is a beautiful setting with excellent shops and cafes in Haltwhistle. The local chippy did deliveries too.We would happily recommend this site.
