Accepted The Samuel hut is 18 feet long and contains a double bed, kitchen area (electric hob, fridge and small belfast sink), seating and a bathroom with hot water shower and flushing toilet.
There is a hand built oak table and bench seats for comfy reading, playing board games, listening to music or gazing out across the fields, as well as a fold down wall bed which can be lifted to reveal the table and seating area.
Inside the hut there is an electric radiator, heated towel rail and wood burning stove with a supply of wood for you to light. We also provide blankets, robes and a hot water bottle so you will be cosy and warm on rainy days and cold evenings.
Outside there is a wood fired Hikki bath tub tucked away for your exclusive use as well as a decked area with table and chairs - the perfect way to relax with a drink of your choice and enjoy the views whatever the weather. You can be assured you will have all the privacy you need.
All your essentials such as towels (indoor & outdoor), robes, slippers, hairdryer, shaving point, USB ports, crockery, glasses and utensils are provided - there is a full list in our Guest Digital Welcome Book which you will receive with your booking confirmation email.
Also provided are board games, binoculars, books, walking map, smart speaker, torch, outdoor muddy paws and boot wash, outdoor storage for muddy boots and coats.
Haystacks will consider allowing a small-medium sized dog to join you, providing he/she has good manners. Please contact us to obtain approval prior to adding a dog to your booking.

Absolutely fantastic few days, but was so clean and had everything you would need for a few days and usually tend to forget to pack, was close to the other hut but it felt secluded and private, the views from the hut are fab and was lovely seeing lambs & sheep throughout the day, Sasha and Jonny were great during check in and explained how to use tub, (tub is absolutely fabby.. lovely in the sun and so cozy in the evenings with the fairy lights around) shower, the pull down bed etc, we didn’t need them during the stay but if we did I’m sure they would have been just as helpful, they gave us their contact details if needed. Pub was lovely round the corner and village shop stocked up on most things! Would defiantly come back. I also had asked Sasha to put some balloons in the hut for my partners birthday and she had put balloons and banners! We also fed their Alpacas and the highland cows! Gorgeous
