The pod had most things we needed for our short stay. Check in was both efficient and friendly with everything being explained to us. The pod was spotless and was very comfortable. We didn't realise we had to bring toilet rolls but after that emergency everything else was plain sailing 😂There were oven rings and a microwave along with kettle etc. Would miss having an oven if we were staying longer.Would love to come back in warmer weather to make the most of the outdoors. We ate at The Galloway restaurant which was close by and we also had dinner at Dunskey Golf Club- highly recommend this. In the village we noticed the. Municipal Park has now reopened which will be good for future visits. Putting green was also a hit with family members. Will definitely come back to the park again, excellent value for money. Pods are spotless clean and have everything you need for your stay. Very reasonable price. Park is very well maintained, managers helpful and friendly. Easy access to pubs and shops nearby. Regular bus service to and from Stranraer.

The pods at Galloway Point are ideal for a short visit to Portpatrick and the surrounding area. They are very clean, well maintained and cleverly designed to maximise useable space. Low cost makes for great value break.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation with the friendliest and most professional staff. The pod was immaculate. The site is stunning and we had the best break we could have asked for. Thank you so much Galloway point for everything. Will definitely be back.

Stayed in one of the pods, staff were very helpful and friendly. Pod was very clean and cosy. No complaints. It is our yearly destination as we usually stay in our towing caravan, however for a change we decided to try one of the pods. Lovely location, looking forward to staying next year.

Loved the pod, would like to see a mirror near a socket for drying hair. Would like to see a lamp in there to be able to read in bed when husband was asleepAnother 2 pillows and either a flat sheet or a bigger fitted sheetStaff where fabulous, and clubhouse was an xtra bonus. It's our second time in the pods. They are spotlessly clean, well fitted with everything you need and and in the perfect location. But shhhhh don't tell anyone as we want to ensure they are available fir us!
