The campsite offers two nights accommodation for use of their glampping cow sheds, I arranged with the proprietor one nights accommodation with my 2year old due to public transportation cancellations. We agreed a price, the campsite manager was present during the conversation & declared I’m putting you in the smallest accommodation as it’s less cleaning & I’m the one cleaning. He showed me my accommodation,it had one double bed with stairs to access the bed. He also showed me around a larger standard room, a bunk bed style structure with a double bed accessible with stairs & a 2nd double bed underneath. Then to reception to pay, where he told the receptionist the cost would be £20 more than the proprietor had agreed on, I corrected him on the arranged price.During the night I had to source the on-site duty manager to arrange duvet & pillows, to place on the floor of the room incase my child fell & injured her self on the furniture while I went to the bathroom.

We stayed in a cow shed and would highly recommend it. Our 2 year old daughters loved the farm park. The facilities were all very clean and the family room was an added bonus :)

My daughter really enjoyed the stay at the cowshed accommodation, she fell in love with the place and asked to go back again. The farm was fantastic, she enjoy feeding the baby goats :) as well as the playground. This is our second time staying there, my daughter is looking forward to her next Advanture.

My daughter and I stayed in one of the Cowsheds last week for a few days. Upon arrival we came to learn that our cow shed didn’t have a hammock, which my daughter had been so excited for. It was explained to us that the hammock may have been stolen from a previous guest, although why the cow shed had no bolt holes led me to suspect that it simply just didn’t have one fitted. When we went into our cow shed we discovered the room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest. After informing the team they really made all efforts to make us feel special by giving us the VIP treatment while they quickly cleaned the room for us. The camp site team were also really helpful, from finding me matches for the fire and helping move a picnic table over so we had a place to sit for our BBQ. Nothing was too much effort. The friendliness of the team was a real delight, personal and engaging. From that point all initial frustrations were gone. A real credit to everyone on site. Thank you to everyone for helping make a my daughter and I’d holiday a special visit.

Camping in comfort, this cowshed was comfy, clean, well placed on site and allowed me (not a camper by nature) to join in the family fun. Had a rainy day, some small leaks through the window onto bed!! Also had a few ants 🐜 visiting but it is camping in a shed so only made it that bit more authentic . Had heating or cooling fan as I also enjoyed 2 very hot days. 30 seconds away from facilities which helpfully included a fridge , freezer, bathroom and sitting area which was used by all. I’m 67 years old and wanted to join my family but not crawl around in a tent, this ticked all my boxes for a 2 night stay. Enjoyed the farm park on each day and the cafe was a few steps away for food and drink. You can literally turn up with your toothbrush and PJs and credit card and camp in comfort ! 😊
