Cheglinch Farm Glamping is a small. quiet, family run site perfectly suited for families and couples. With just 3 tents located in a picturesque four acre field you are assured of plenty of room to roam freely, relax and get back to nature.

Each tent is furnished with proper beds and mattresses made up ready for your arrival. 4 people can sleep comfortably on a double bed, a single trundle bed and a day bed. A further small child can be accommodated in the travel cot provided or you can bring your own small blow up mattress. The cow themed duvet covers are a sure hit with children.

Outside of your tent you will find your own private ecotoilet, outdoor undercover kitchen equipped with gas barbecue, cool box, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, and a picnic table. Also, your own upcycled fire pit which is great for toasting marshmallows & wood stove. Just across the field is your private shower room equipped with hot gas shower, mirror and plenty of room for your toothbrush!

The field is a wonderful wildlife haven. It was originally a wetland area but it has been sensitively drained, whilst maintaining some of its original features. A small stream transverses the field and small pockets of marshland remain which are great at attracting frogs, insects and birds. Children also love darting in and out of the reeds- they are great for hide and seek.

The play barn is a perfect place to take refuge if the weather is unkind. It is equipped with dining tables and chairs, games and activities for children, as well as a shared washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, electric points and a clothes drying area. Children will also enjoy the small, rustic, outdoor play area, collecting the eggs from the chickens, meeting the guinea pigs and watching the calves, cows and tractors.

The village of West Down is less than a mile away and provides a local pub, community shop and playground. Ilfracombe is 3 miles away and provides a raft of activities and amenities as expected of an attractive coastal Victorian town. You will be spoilt for choice with so many sandy beaches within a 5-15 minute drive. There are also multiple theme parks nearby.
