All bedding is provided for your comfy double bed, including the most amazing Baavet duvet, made in the UK with 100% British wool, naturally breathable and hypoallergenic. The space under the bed is totally free to put away bags or belongings.

The electric stove gives clean, no mess and instant heat and with double glazed French doors and windows our shepherd’s hut is fully insulated and super cosy.

The kitchenette has a ceramic sink with hot/cold running water and is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge with icebox. Basic crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, wine glasses and flutes are provided with the basic essentials: ECO washing up liquid and all purpose sanitiser, dish cloth, tea towel.

The luxury bathroom facilities are just 20m away in the Amenity Hut and features a large walk in shower. Towels included.

The shepherd’s hut will be stocked with complimentary fair-trade tea and coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and marshmallows to toast on the campfire. We’ll also leave a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge for that all important brew on arrival.

Inside the hut you have a Smart TV and there is fantastic Wi-Fi and also excellent 4G coverage across the site.

For you ladies …. there is a mirror with adjacent double socket for handy hair drying/straightening! Hope too you love our vintage kitchen side table with enamel top and our up-cycled stools. Both reflect the Welsh charm and rustic style of our shepherds hut.

Tempting it may be to snuggle up inside your cosy hut, there is no doubt you will be drawn outside by the spectacular mountain views of the Clwydian Range AONB to your own personal spacious paddock area with picnic bench, rustic log seating and a firepit/BBQ. Perfect for chilling with a glass of wine. By night, enjoy the warmth and glow of your own campfire and admire dramatic skies and star after star.

Add some charcoal to the firepit and place the grill rack over the top to use as a BBQ (bring your own charcoal). A Jean Patrique lazy pan is inside the hut. Place on top of the grill rack to sizzle up some bacon or eggs for an al fresco fry up! A campfire starter pack (with matches, fire lighters, firewood plus tips on lighting a campfire) and marshmallows are all included.

A bit rainy outside? Snuggle up with Welsh wool blankets in the Cwtch sheltered area.

A well lit gravel path leads from your private parking area via the Amenity Hut to your Shepherd's Hut, so no treading through wet and muddy grass!
