Accepted Our glamping site is situated in a quiet spot at the top of the Wye valley surrounded by beautiful countryside and wonderful walks. We want you to feel close to nature while enjoying great hospitality. We aim to provide you with all you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Tiger Moth is our 1950s railway carriage, handcrafted in metal and wood, it is mounted on a 1940’s bale trailer. The hut is furnished with a king-size bed and two comfy chairs. A wood burning stove ensures you stay warm and cosy even on colder evenings. We provide bedding and linen, towels, firewood and spaces to hang or store your clothes. Soft lighting in the accommodation is powered by solar panels. Outside the hut there is a table, chairs and firebowl.
Within the glamping site our hand built kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal, including gas hob, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and hot water.
We are passionate about the natural environment. We harvest our rain water, have installed solar panels and use only environmentally friendly products in our kitchen and bathroom. We grow our own fruit and vegetables and our lovely free range hens provide us with fresh eggs each day.
Take a hot shower in your own modern bathroom (no sharing required!). Organic toiletries included.
Once an aircraft hangar, we have transformed part of the space into an area for you to relax either indoors or on the decking. Alternatively guests can relax around the firepit, toast a few marshmallows and chat to fellow holidaymakers.
The Hangar itself has its own wood burning stove, along with several board games and books for guests to enjoy. Additionally, our Honesty Shop means those staying on site have access to some sweet treats and getaway essentials. In this space, we also have several publications of insightful visitor information for the local area.
We are fortunate to be a Dark Sky Destination so on a clear summer’s night the sky glows with the Milky Way and a myriad of constellations – and maybe a shooting star or two.
