Caban Teifi is a modern, well equipped cabin for two on our four acre smallholding in Henllan, Ceredigion. It sits close to the owners house but in it's own private area, with a small fenced garden and guest access to a further two acres of outdoor space.

The cabin has electric underfloor heating and gas fired hot water to the shower and kitchen. The space comprises an open area with a double bed, small sofa and TV. There is also a well equipped kitchenette with full size fridge, two ring electric hob, microwave, sink and storage cupboards. Just off this area is a small room with shower, basin and WC. All bed linen and kitchen equipment is supplied.

Outside and to the front are steps down to the guests own enclosed garden area with table and chairs, bbq and fire pit. The garden affords lovely views over the Teifi Valley and the river as it passes below. The garden also gives access to two one acre paddocks for guests to use. The one directly below the garden is quite steep with a small stream at the base. The other is flatter and fully fenced for dog exercising. We allow guests to bring one well behaved dog but would make them aware that there is livestock in neighbouring fields. Caban Teifi is our only unit and so guests have sole use of these areas. To the rear of the cabin is private parking for one vehicle.

There are a number of nice walks from the door including alongside the river and passing Henllan Falls. Further walks, including some further afield are detailed in the cabin information folder.

Henllan is a small village but is home to the Teifi Valley Railway and Celteg Winery. The nearest convenience store and pub/restaurant are in Penrhiwllan around 1.5 miles. A wider range of shops and eateries can be found in Newcastle Emlyn, around 10 minutes drive. The larger towns of Cardigan and Carmarthen are both around 30 minutes away.

Local attractions include the Cenarth Falls with it's riverside walk and Cilgerran Wildlife Centre.

The Cardigan Bay coast road is around 25 minutes drive and gives access to lots of lovely coves and sandy beaches including, Llangranog, Cwmtydu, Penbryn, Poppit Sands and Mwnt. New Quay is also well worth a visit, not least to see the dolphins which frequent the bay and can often be seen from the harbour wall or on one of the regular boat trips.

The coastal resorts also give easy access to the beautiful West Wales Coast Path which incorporates lots of circular routes for those seeking a shorter walk.
