Esmeralda was handcrafted in our workshop and finished with vintage décor to replicate that of an original showman wagon, providing self catering, glamping accommodation for two adults. Proudly positioned at the top of our field on our family farm in her own enclosed space with views looking out to Filey Bay and across the donkey field out to open countryside.
Inside Esmerelda is a double cupboard bed with bedding and blankets, 5amp plug socket, 2 USB charging points and electric kettle and fridge. She has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm and the sound of the crackling fire provides the perfect background noise for reading by the fire.
Outside is a large patio area with bistro set so you can sit and enjoy breakfast with the donkey view. Esmeraldas outdoor kitchenette has a cold water sink, double gas hob, crockery and cooking utensils. Off the decking area is your own private shower room. On the grass is an outdoor firepit, perfect for keeping you warm whilst taking in the sunset.
Esmerelda also has a wood fired soaking tub which provides the perfect place to relax whilst taking in the beautiful views.
After your journey just light the wood burner and pour yourself a drink whilst the water heats, this takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on how hot you burn the stove, once your tub is up to temp just stir with the giant paddle and sink into the relaxing warm water. Its a truly special experience creating the fire that heats your tub.
Esmerelda is the perfect space for a romantic escape away from day to day life.
Minimum 2 night stay except for bank holidays which are 3.
We're a small, family run glamping site located on our family farm at Reighton Gap near Filey, North Yorkshire with no two units the same and all having been loving restored or handcrafted in our workshop by my dad. On site we also have donkeys, a communal games barn and dog agility course
Our location makes us the perfect base for exploring the beach or walking the King Charles III coastal path with access to the route at the top of our field. We're located 5 miles away from Filey and the coastal towns of Bridlington and Scarborough are both within 11 miles.
