Amazing staff and park. Shepard hut and safari tents are spotless. Unreal. Cannot recommend enough. We even got to name one of the sheep - Keith !!

The hut was very clean & cute. Loved that it had a kettle! And loved the free wild boar tickets & ideas for local walks. The underbed storage was huge too! However on our second day, it rained heavily & there was nowhere to put muddy boots or wet clothes. Maybe an extra mat for boots would work. We also couldn't get the fire to work. Instructions on how to use the fire would have been greatIt was very cold at night - luckily we brought our sleeping bag, please inform people that they may need to do this. Sporadic WiFi- which only was a struggle when we tried to find somewhere to eat at night when it was too wet to cook outside. Ideas of where to eat locally may be useful. If you wanted to be totally off grid. You are also very close to the other hut - ok if you are a sociable person! The toilet & shower facilities & washing up facilities were lovely. Overall a lovely stay.

We so enjoyed our few days at Bowland. The area and camp site are beautiful with plenty to do and see. We enjoyed the beautiful villages, pubs and the Tolkien Trail. The campsite has excellent facilities and us and pods are well spaced. We enjoyed the fire pit that came with the shepherd’s hut. The bed was comfortable and the hut was sparkling clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the burgers and sausages on sale.
