We had the most peaceful, restful break. The lodge is so beautiful, spacious with everything you need, like a hike away from home. It’s so quiet you can help but feel rested. We had some lovely walks to dunsop bridge, chipping, beacon fell to name a few. The staff are lovely and friendly. My dogs had a lovely time sitting on the decking watching the wildlife in the woodland. We saw so many different birds, deer, hedgehogs and a family of peacocks. I would recommend to anyone you wants a chilled, comfortable break in the heart of the most beautiful countryside, we will 100% be returning very soon. Thank you so much bowland escapes.

Myself and my wife Pat stopped over the weekend of the 5th to the 8th of July 2024 along with our little family pet dog Tilly. The place was spotlessly clean, with all the facilities. Of a night, you could hear a pin drop, well other than the sound of an owl or some sheep in the distance. We got up early one day only to see some wild deer walking past the the lodge. The lodge had an enclosed area so we could let our dog Tilly out with no risk of her escaping, she absolutely loved that freedom. The lodge has a large 65" TV on the wall with all the apps so if you want to put your feet up and watch TV and in our case it was watching the England games it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, security on to the site was achieved by security coded locks, including into the lodges. The site is remote, so once you are there, you will need your own transport to get out to the amenities, but saying that, the countryside views are amazing. Thanks for making our stay so fab.

Lodge perfect inside and outside extremely clean and even though the lodge was pet friendly there was no signs of animals in hair or smell ( never caused any problems with partner who suffers with many allergies) the wildlife was really nice to see daily visits from peacocks 6 adults and 4 babies even saw deer on a few occasions especially in the morning and numerous other fauna. A very peaceful stay was had .

From the very start I was met with friendly and helpful staff at the park.We settled straight into the lodge which had plenty to offer, with tea and coffee provided already to get us started. The park itself is situated in a quiet location, but within a short drive of local pubs, farm shops and lots of dog walking areas, although the park also has it's own cafe on site, a gift shop and lots of great places to walk. Our dog took too much interest in the park animals though, so we kept her on a lead when on site.
