This is feedback that we hope could be useful to you than a review for public publication. The cottage was lovely but quite damp. If you had a couple of dehumidifiers it would help the place feel dryer and warmer, probably reducing the cost of the electric heating. The blinds in the bedroom let in a lot of light which woke us up early than we would have liked and considering we stay in October it would be a huge issue if we returned in the Summer.

Gorgeous little house, spotlessly clean with everything you need. The hot tub was perfect after a long walk up Scafell Pike! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed at Blaithewaite cottage to attend a family wedding on the estate. The cottage was conveniently located just along from the venue so once we were ready we were at the Wedding gathering in minutes. The cottage had everything that we needed and was comfortable although the beds in room 2 were terrible and my son and his wife did not sleep at all for two nights. The downstairs was most inviting with large glass windows and doors letting in lots of light.the rooms were inviting and furnished with style and comfort in mind. The garden was most attractive too with a bbq area, hot tub and seating area plus a babbling brook. We stayed two nights which was perfect for the wedding and the sun shone brightly while the couple took their vows.

We stayed at Blaithwaite Cottage for 2 nights over Easter. We had such a lovely time. It was perfect for me and my partner and our little boy. The cottage was clean and great for a toddler. Once he was in bed we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit next to the river, and it was an extra treat getting pizzas from the pop-up van at the estate. The play park was lovely for children, and the location affords great access into the north of the Lakes. It’s started our spring perfectly. Definitely recommend! Thank you!

Very clean and well equipped house. There's a TV and hot tub; the kitchen table is big enough for board games so we had plenty to do. Only 20 minutes drive from Keswick.

The garden is very overgrown and you are greeted by head-high nettles and brambles to negotiate from the parking spot to the doors of the house. The garden is not dog proof so they can gain access to the road and the fields if left to their own devices. The single track road is used by the locals as a race track, so be cautious when walking along the road and accessing the off-road parking. The house did smell damp, not helped by a blocked gutter allowing water down the side of the house. Somewhere to dry washing would be useful, other than a tumble drier. No resources for wet weather days. Other holiday lets we have stayed in have a wide collection of donated books, games, puzzles etc, and there are none here. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and much appreciated. More outdoor chairs would be good. Three gravy boats, but no large serving dishes! Nothing that can't be fixed! We did report a problem and staff who came were great, but was still unresolved when we left

A gorgeous cottage hidden within the outback of the Lakes. Really spacious, a lovely kitchen area and the hot tub (which all 4 of us squeezed into!)We loved that we had our own private garden and land away from the rest of the estate. This cottage is really accommodating for 4 adults.A quick 25 minute drive to Keswick where we spent Saturday at the local market shopping and trying local food. We did venture on to the main grounds Saturday evening for a pizza and drink. This layout was great and service was brilliant. We also loved having a cuddle with the animals and pretended to be big kids on the swings. I do feel like the rooms need a fresh lick of paint but that is my only negative feedback. Otherwise, all the remaining facilities are fantastic and up to standard.

The cottage was beautifully clean and really well equipped with the basics which meant we didn’t have to bring the kitchen sink with us. Communication was brilliant when booking. Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice surprise. The hot tub and garden are fantastic. Such a lovely property, in beautiful surroundings. It was a pleasure to stay here and we absolutely cannot wait to return.

Very Satisfied - Cleanliness, size of cottage and ample amenities, lovely gardens, stream is very relaxing, great location for lakes/beach & walking. The estate itself is lovely, the little farm area is great for children Improvements: the mattress on the single bed nearest the window needs replacing, very uncomfortable, curtains would be better, very bright in rooms using just blinds. Garden could use some TLC a bit overgrown in places Overall we absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family

The cottage was quaint and lovely. We are mindful it was an old dwelling but the stairwell had an odour of damp. The garden has the potential to be beautiful, a true cottage garden but sadly has been neglected. The beds were not comfortable and as we did not sleep fitfully for the 3 nights this is enough for me not to return. The surrounding area was beautiful and the information on your website as to recommendations for venues to visit and venues for food, were excellent.
