The park is situated the top of the hill with amazing views and close enough to walk into Howarth .The park also has great facilities on the park , the bar with entertainment is brilliant .The reason we gave it a 4 was because we don't drink and there is only so much coffee you can have when you are in the bar without feeling uncomfortable. We didnt feel that we should stay as we werent drinking and was taking up a table but wanted to stay as we were enjoying the entertainment and don't get out much at home. I did feel that we weren't made ro feel welcome if we weren't drinking but did think that we paid for the park with entertainment that we couldn't enjoy .This is a great bar if you are a drinker ,you will enjoy it and would definitely recommend to my friends that are drinkers.I wouldn't stop in a pod again but that is just personal preference .

Thanks Jeremy.We really have no preference what you drink....... margin on soft drinks is similar to alcohol so it really doesn't matter to us.Having been a drinker and non drinker for long spells I can empathise with your feeling. In the end it's personal choice and we've just to roll with it.Please book soon enough to get the loads of different accommodation choices we have.Thanks for your feedback Frank

Stayed in a camping pod which was clean and cosy with the heater on . The toilet facilities were of a high standard. I liked that the sinks were in separate compartment so you could have privacy. We didn’t use the restaurant but had a couple of drinks at the bar which was nice . Lovely location in the countryside high up overlooking Haworth . Only criticism was that toilets were further away than suggested on web site and the accommodation with toilet facilities such as the touring caravans were located the nearest to the toilets . We love upwood park. We visit a few times a year. We only arrived home Monday and we have already booked one of your super pods to try in October. Can't wait to come back. All the staff are so helpful and friendly and the whole site is spotless

Great place as per previous stays. Food and drink in Clubhouse very good and great value, great staff all over, amenities well maintained and clean. The only real point I'd make is that the doors on the Pod we stayed when closed still had a small gap and unfortunately the overnight temperatures were sub zero (it is still March 😂), so a bit nippy. A bit of insulation foam tape wouldn't go amiss 👍🏻A quick mention on the Freddie Mercury tribute you had on the Saturday night - absolutely top notch....great (authentic?) voice, and also highly entertaining 👍🏻As per the survey, will definitely come back in the future and are happily showing family photos and describing the highlights.Please keep up the high standards and maintain the high value too 😊

Cobwebs in pod 9. Wouldn't let us hire a mattress on the day and it said nothing about pre ordering. Rude receptionist. Flooded toilets of urine. Heater very low in pod even on full. No way you'd get a family of 5 people in there

OK I fully understand where some of your frustration arrises but theres always two sides to a complaint of this nature.. Obviuosly 'not for you' but you were with a group that were revisiting because they had such a good time on their last visit. Nothings changed and I believe the rest of the group thoroughly enjoyed themselves again.1: Its the opening weekend and pods have been unoccupied for 2 months. They were all thoroughly cleaned but it is possible a cob web was missed. Our cleaners are very good but they're also human.2:Mattress hire is part of the online booking process, so its impossible to miss. It's difficult sometimes to balance the needs/demands of customers that are not getting what they want. The 'rude' receptionist did however sort camp beds for everyone as soon as she was made aware some of the group had come without. I would also push readers to the many other reviews that paint a very different picture to the politeness of our very busy reception staff.3: The toilet block handles a huge amount of toilet paper and waste water. We cant control what people try to flush away and very rarely it gets something it can't cope with and backs up. As soon as we were made aware of the problem it was quickly sorted and cleaned up.4: The pods are extremely well insulated and we've checked the heater and it's working fine. I can't remember another review (and we've had a lot) that mentions being cold. The family five pods cater for 5 single air beds/tuffis and/or camp beds. Over the last 15 yrs we have caterered for hundreds of groups with 5 in that have stayed successfully and loved every minute.In conclusion I'm really sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but camping and the outdoors is not for everyone. If reading this review please get a more balanced picture of what you'll find by reading any of the other excellent experiences.

The site is maintained to a high standard. The onsite facilities are kept clean and tidy. It has a well stocked shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It’s also well situated for travelling around and exploring. It’s in a rural location so great for walking. I use google maps to locate the campsite and explore the area.

The campsite was absolutely amazing first rate staff, everyone was approachable & went the extra mile to find an item I misplaced didn’t phase them. I would recommend this site & value for money too. I will be rebooking a long stay next year

Everything you needed was close by and very clean .staff was very nice. friendly also very helpful. lovely walks with or without your dog.Amazing food compliments to the chef good entertainment
