In the midst of an Oasis of Tranquillity, Ruthern Valley Wigwams, sleep up to 5 with memory foam mattresses that become seating. These Cornwall glamping wigwams are the ultimate eco cabin – double-glazed, secure and lockable, cosy and warm whatever the time of year. Our glamping Wigwams offer a convenient alternative to the tent for a couple, family, or up to five adults. They are set in designated areas within the site and they are ready and waiting for you with more privacy than a tent and much more comfort for family glamping on the Cornish coast!
If you book to go glamping in Cornwall you will find woodland walks right on your doorstep and Ruthern Valley Wigwams are in an ideal location, central to all Cornwall has to offer.
Hire a bike right from the shop and cycle to the Camel Valley Vineyard, Grogley Woods or Bodmin Gaol! If cycling isn't your thing you can chill on some of the best beaches along the Cornish coast or take advantage of this location for glamping to visit the Eden Project, the infamous millennium project in Cornwall.
Sea spray on the north coast, balmy breezes in the south, scrumptious Cornish food, wild moor ponies and mysterious quoits. Cornwall has so much in store for you.

The reception is in the small, well stocked shop in which we were given a warm friendly and informative welcome. ( as it was a cool day they had even put the heating on in the pod ). The site is located in peaceful surroundings and has laundry, showers, toilet etc. The pod ( which is termed as a Wigwam ) has has a lockable door, blinds on the windows, microwave, fridge, kettle and heater, During our stay it rained and we were really warm and snug in the pod and slept well. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay.

Lovely location, even though it was pouring down when we arrived the site is still beautiful. The shop on site is very handy. Friendly staff. The pod was very clean upon arrival, equipped with a heater, kettle and microwave. Would recommend to anyone!

It is a place that is in the sticks out the way but is nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the bed was absolutely horrible and we came home early. I wouldn’t say it was worth £60 at all. The toilet facilities were clean.

We stayed one night in a wigwam and had a wonderful time! The toilets & showers were the cleanest we’ve experienced at any campsite. The woodland area is great with nice walks around too. Definitely recommend!

I’d just like to say a big thank you to Andrew & Nicola as I’d received this gift of a stay last year and then contracted covid which took me months to recover from. On my rescheduled date this Easter I contracted another illness which mean I had to postpone yet again. Eventually we made it and loved the seclusion, without the uncomfortable camping! We stayed during the build up to storm Ciaron and I think this made it atmospheric and heightened the feeling of snugness inside the wigwam. The heater kept us very toasty.

A beautiful secluded location, daughter loved the wigwam which felt like camping, but in cold October. Would recommend as the perfect get away.

We have stayed twice at Ruthern Valley, both times in one of the wooden wigwams. They're cosy, comfortable and clean. Heated so great all year around and the site itself is perfect for children, fab park and they loved the chickens through what we called the secret path. Would highly recommend

The cabin was nice and functional with fridge, light, solid beds and lockable door. The toilets/showers were nice and in good condition.
