In the midst of an Oasis of Tranquillity, Ruthern Valley Wigwams, sleep up to 5 with memory foam mattresses that become seating. These Cornwall glamping wigwams are the ultimate eco cabin – double-glazed, secure and lockable, cosy and warm whatever the time of year. Our glamping Wigwams offer a convenient alternative to the tent for a couple, family, or up to five adults. They are set in designated areas within the site and they are ready and waiting for you with more privacy than a tent and much more comfort for family glamping on the Cornish coast!

If you book to go glamping in Cornwall you will find woodland walks right on your doorstep and Ruthern Valley Wigwams are in an ideal location, central to all Cornwall has to offer.

Hire a bike right from the shop and cycle to the Camel Valley Vineyard, Grogley Woods or Bodmin Gaol! If cycling isn't your thing you can chill on some of the best beaches along the Cornish coast or take advantage of this location for glamping to visit the Eden Project, the infamous millennium project in Cornwall.

Sea spray on the north coast, balmy breezes in the south, scrumptious Cornish food, wild moor ponies and mysterious quoits. Cornwall has so much in store for you.

"Extremely peaceful"

Mr P Bilzon - Stayed with partner, Sep 2021

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and its location. It is a little isolated, so trips out will need a car and an ability to navigate the web of tight and narrow lanes. "Glamping fun!"

Mrs L Whitefield - Stayed with family, Aug 2021

We stayed in a glamping wigwam and it was just as fun as we thought it would be! Everything was spotlessly clean in both the wigwam and the washing facilities. Miss J Slinger - Stayed with friends, Jul 2021

We had a great stay at Rutgers Valley - our wigwam was clean and comfortable which was great for a good night sleep after a day exploring! It’s a handy location to beaches and the camel trail - bike hire is available. Facilities were clean and showers were warm!... We have stayed at Ruthern Valley multiple times over the last 15 years in various forms but it is the wigwams that have been bringing us back for the last 6. The whole site is in such a tranquil setting it is hard not to feel relaxed the moment you arrive. Situated on the camel trail, it is very easy to cycle to Wadebridge and then on to Padstow (20 mile round trip). The fact that the wigwams have beds, microwave, kettle and fridge means that you don't have to worry about so much camping gear. This is our favourite place to come for a weekend and look forward to returning soon.
