In the midst of an Oasis of Tranquillity, Ruthern Valley Wigwams, sleep up to 5 with memory foam mattresses that become seating. These Cornwall glamping wigwams are the ultimate eco cabin – double-glazed, secure and lockable, cosy and warm whatever the time of year. Our glamping Wigwams offer a convenient alternative to the tent for a couple, family, or up to five adults. They are set in designated areas within the site and they are ready and waiting for you with more privacy than a tent and much more comfort for family glamping on the Cornish coast!

If you book to go glamping in Cornwall you will find woodland walks right on your doorstep and Ruthern Valley Wigwams are in an ideal location, central to all Cornwall has to offer.

Hire a bike right from the shop and cycle to the Camel Valley Vineyard, Grogley Woods or Bodmin Gaol! If cycling isn't your thing you can chill on some of the best beaches along the Cornish coast or take advantage of this location for glamping to visit the Eden Project, the infamous millennium project in Cornwall.

Sea spray on the north coast, balmy breezes in the south, scrumptious Cornish food, wild moor ponies and mysterious quoits. Cornwall has so much in store for you.

"Great night glamping!"

K Gates - Stayed with partner, Oct 2022

We stayed the night in a glamping pod and was very satisfied with our pod and the facilities. The pod itself was very clean and well presented. The toilet block was very clean and well maintained. it was a great introduction to glamping and I look forward to going... "Disappointing"

We love camping and this area is surrounded by beautiful woodlands, however, felt disappointed at our initial contact with the owner as he was abrupt and rude. No email was received to inform us to take bedding so extra expense at supermarket to buy this. We enjoyed the nearby Lannivet Inn for my birthday meal, exemplary meal and service. We had taken breakfast food with us but again nothing communicated to say to bring cups, bowls, plates and cutlery. I addressed certain issues with the male owner before leaving to then be told not for you then. How judgemental and rude!! Upset me deeply on what was my birthday treat away😢

"All very good"

J Bayliss - Stayed with partner, Sep 2022

Our pod was much bigger than expected! The bed was huge and comfy. We had been worried about it being cold but there was a heater in the pod so we needn’t have worried. The showers and toilets were very clean as was the pod. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night in September as part of a voucher I had. The initial experience was poor as I originally booked via email only too be told 4 day later that the night we wanted was no longer available. However, everything else was spot on, the check in was swift and hassle free, the wigwam it's self was clean, well kitted out and surprisingly warm. I would think that 4 people in a wigwam would be a squeeze but for 2 people it was perfect. Many thanks for a great night away in Cornwall.

The hut was cosy and sufficient. The facilities were as to be expected. Parking was easy. Pubs and eating establishments within easy and short drive away.

Myself and my family recently spent 4 nights at Ruthern Valley Holidays and it was a lovely quiet site with everything you needed as holiday base, we stayed in a wigwam and the size and facilities were better than I was expecting. I was also pleased with how clean the toilet/showering facilities were especially for the school holidays! I found that this site is genuinely a lovely relaxing hidden treasure and would be very happy to return in the future. The shop was open at convenient times and we enjoyed hiring the body boards to take the beach as this allowed us to save on money for other things while we were away! The only tiny issue I found was that there were no lights walking from the wigwams to the toilets and at night can be very dark especially with the small step towards the toilets of the main road as the like from the toilets just doesn’t quite reach this area! Will definitely be returning in the future though as this is a great base to travel around Cornwall!

"Beautiful site"

Mrs V Almendro Rodrigues - Stayed with family, Aug 2022

We have enjoyed very much our stay , the facilities are good and well kept the only comment I want to make is that the pods would be more comfortable if the spiders ,cobwebs and dead insects (loads of them) weren’t on the ceilings. Not a big issue for us but... We have enjoyed very much our stay , the facilities are good and well kept the only comment I want to make is that the pods would be more comfortable if the spiders ,cobwebs and dead insects (loads of them) weren’t on the ceilings. Not a big issue for us but definitely for the kids . Although understandable in the middle of the woods is hard to keep them out . Would certainly recommend to others.

Everything’s was very nice and well thought out, toilets where very clean, and the the wigwam was very cosy! Location and scenery was so nice. Only problem was that we didn’t notice the fridge was switched to 0 when we arrived so we had to throw away a fair bit of food... "Beautiful"

H Martin - Stayed with family, Aug 2022

Beautiful setting, good location, quiet, clean, relaxing and friendly staff!! The Park was OK for younger children, luckily there is a football goal which entertained my 12 year old for an hour.
