North Devon is one of the most untamed and prettiest parts of the country. This inspires us every day. We’re passionate about nature and have made our park a wildlife sanctuary.
Kids will be captivated wandering our biodiverse nature trail and enjoy skimming stones in our woodland stream. Our park is rural and wholesome—but modern too—with free WIFI and luxury accommodation. No need to go without.
It’s time to chill out with your nearest and dearest, filling your days with pure discovery and laughter. Your Hele Valley holiday will be a classic adventure, from dramatic coast path rambles to silliness on the beach and everything in between.
Our Snug Pods provide added security and more privacy than a standard camping stay. With less noise compared to sleeping in a tent, these pods can comfortably accommodate up to 2 adults. Each pod comes with an a bench outside for guests to enjoy their breakfast, lunch and dinner at.
We provide a wood burner/BBQ so that guests can fully enjoy the outdoor camping experience.
One of the major benefits of staying in one of our Snug Pods is the wonderful ability to avoid any adverse weather conditions. With heating, lighting and electricity (16 Amp rated) all included in the price, you will have an incredible getaway surrounded by some of North Devon's most outstanding and beautiful natural woodland.
Please note that while camping beds are provided and come with an extra comfort mattress and storage available underneath, bed linen is not provided. So remember to bring your sleeping bags and pillows!

Great place for a quiet time with easy access to Ilfracombe on foot, or a more demanding walk via the headland. Bus too. Try Broadsands beach if you want a lovely cove and don’t mind the exhilarating descent/climb!

The showers and toilets were very nice and clean, the person who welcomed us was very friendly and helpfull. We loved the area with it’s beaches and the coastal path.We did not like the pebbels around the pods, very noisy!I missed a hook to put your sac for garbage on at the outside of the pod.The pub a bit downhill was also quite nice.

We stayed in pea pod which we loved, beds comfy and it has a lovely set up. The blind was very effective but very slow to wind up especially if you are trying to get out in the middle of the night for the loo and trying to do it quietly. The toilet and shower facilities were great, nice to have a toilet and shower, a towel hook would be so useful opposite the shower itself though. The site is lovely and I can’t wait to come back.

A beautifully kept holiday park, exceptionally clean with modern facilities. Tranquil setting. Professional, friendly owners. We stayed in a pod which was clean and comfortable.,

Very clean and quiet. And a nice green environment. As I normally camp using a small mountain type tent ( about a 3 square metre footprint) I thought it would be good if you had some space given over to that category .

The pod we stayed in was beautiful we had our own room in front of the pod. Easy parking and the fire bin just made it a whole new experience. Just beautiful!

Don't come here. Holiday teatime ruined by workmen strimming next to glamping pod. Next morning more workmen strimming and fixing lights at 8 o'clock in morning, ruined breakfast. Another customer upset in shower block with baby woken by workmen, so not just us. Totally spoilt what could have been a lovely holiday. As noisy and unprivileged as a motorway travelodge

Just brilliant! The pod replaces the need for a tent but with the bonus of full head height, dry, electric socket and private decking area. We totally loved our stay it was myself and my 10 year old son. We are hoping to go back in the summer we loved it so much. We are really glad we took our camping table as the bench provided is perfect fro a cup of tea but not for a gas burner or eating at. The fire pit was a lovely touch as was the wood provided. The pods are in a perfect location on the site, plenty of space and parking directly next to them. The wash facilities were immaculate and regularly checked. The garage up the road has a brilliantly stocked shop. We didn't actually see a member of staff, but our queries by email were answered instantly and always really helpful. A lovely lovely park and we loved the pod.

I booked a camping pod as I was going on a chartered boat trip from Ilfracombe. The site was affordable and about 30 minutes walk from the harbour. It was a contact free booking so there were a few minor issues. The booking was for a pod with no furnishings which is what I found but the information sent out suggested that there was bedding provided. I didn't know the code to the toilet and wash block, but the pod was clean and well presented with its own parking. It was easy for me to walk into Ilfracombe and enjoy all the facilities there. I enjoyed my trip and when I left the reception staff were friendly and I realised I could probably have got a lot more information and support if I had been around at the right time to ask.Pros:Well organisedFamily orientatedGood wash blockHelpful staffGood locationReasonable priceCons:Some information was a little unclear, this may have been resolved by speaking to staff, but as I arrived late in the evening, left early for my boat trip then got back after 5pm reception was officially closed.
