We were staying in a lodge and everything was provided, bedlinen, towels even a welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, teatowel, dishcloth and washing liquid so we had no need to use onsite facilities, but when exploring the facilities we found them to be spotlessly clean and the indoor games room was a brilliant space. The farm shop was well stocked with essentions and treats and all the staff were extremely friendly. The site was set inland but with lovely views the lodges had plenty of room around them with your own car parking space. Lots to do within the area with Weymouth being only a short drive away with wonderful sandy beaches

Everyone on site was friendly and helpful. We then moved to a pod, for me I didn’t think it was very clean. The floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, you could feel it wasn’t clean when you walked on it. There was a strange smell that I couldn’t put my finger on for a few days, it smelt like cat wee then as I was adjusting the downstairs bed I realised it was coming from the cushions I was sleeping on. I think a dog had slept on it and these hadn’t been cleaned. I didn’t know animals were allowed in the pods. I would have specified no pets when I booked if I knew. There were quite a few cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, under the tv unit. I just whipped around with a brush, mop and dusted and we were good to go! The oven was awful, it took us 2 hours to cook some chips and they weren’t crispy at all so we decided not to use it. Think the cleaning company needs speaking to but it didn’t ruin our hols

We camped there last year and were impressed by the excellent shower facilities, shop, games room and play park. This year we came back and stayed in a 6 sleeper lodge. We slept in it with our 2 small children and found it was perfect size for us. It was clean and well equipped and sound proof so the kids slept really well. As always the staff were really friendly and helpful and the site was so clean and peaceful. We had pizza from the woodfire van that visited and it was so delicious. Can’t wait to come back again!

Staff very friendly. Location great to the beach, sea life centre and town. I found the pod very basic, no frying pan, no washing up liquid/tea towels/cloths to wash up with. Wasn't cleaned very well before our arrival, still dusty, lots of cobwebs and some papa John's pizza sauce pots still on the side of the seating area. We couldn't get the sofa convert into a bed so that proved tricky with it stating sleeps 6 which it really doesn't. Shower very powerful and clean bathroom space. Comfy sofa and with lots of plump cushions. Outside space could have done with enough chairs to seat 6 and cushions for outside would have been a nice touch. No bench like stated in photo either. For the money we paid for the weekend in my view was a lot for what we got.

Everything had been thought of, loved all the extra details and storage. Staff were welcoming and really approachable, we all felt at easy and like family. I’m originally from Dorset-Dorchester so found location to be just perfect, we went into Weymouth a few of the days and found travel time from location into Weymouth beach to be minimal (obviously traffic does have an effect on this). We went to Fat Badger one evening for food, this I highly recommend the food was superb. Ringstead bay of an evening watching the sunset. Of course highly recommend Rossi Icecream. Over all we cannot wait to re-book for next summer, we will be booking longer next time as we didn’t want our stay to be over as quick as it was. Thank you Higher Moor Farm for giving us lasting 2023 summer memories ❤️

The lodge is bright and airy and lots of headroom for all the decorations. (See photo 2!) It took us 6hrs to get there due to bad traffic, so we were well after the 6pm slot and it wasn't a problem for them, they set the lodge up for us and gave us all the check in details. We had a dodgy toilet seat (was comical when i went to use it as fell off!) And it was sorted before my hubby even got back to the lodge! Only thing I'd say was the games barn could probably do with an update as a few of them weren't working but we saw it as a bonus add on to the site and wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely be visiting again 😊

The local area is lovely as Weymouth, Lulworth and west bay are all great places to visit. We stay here last year in the smaller pod and really enjoyed it. Hence why we returned for a bigger lodge for a bit more room. The pod itself was nice and big, but the sleeping areas weren’t the best. We didn’t sleep up top as it’s a smaller ceiling and I’m only 5ft2 and did almost hid my head. And it was super hot up there but that was for the time of year. That cannot be helped because of the weather. Do we used the pull out bed in the lounge area but was expecting a bit of a thicker mattress. We did struggle to sleep. Although I think the plates could be a little bigger as we struggled when we cooked food. Also we had no bowls. Only some very small dishes with a dip. Tv is good we had 2, got all good channels. They do host good nights during the summer holidays and half term. So would be good for young families to stay. If they like that sort of thing.
