We had a great stay but we’re disappointed we had to purchase bedding on arrival costing £75 for cheapest from local supermarket as your website makes no mention of this being required for shepherd hits - it clearly states it for bell tents and yurts on the last paragraphs but nothing for shepherd hits indicating that it’s required which was a shame and a cost to us

Only criticism is that my son (11years) fell off the top bunk when he rolled over. As you are aware the top bunk is quite a hight and he injured his back and his legs. I think there needs to be a guard added to prevent this.

We had a wonderful weekend away in the old rams hut ❤️ Would recommend to anyone who wanted a cozy chill break. The facilities were clean along with the hut when we arrived. Once we got the log burner going for the hot tub we absolutely loved it, it’s a lot bigger than the pictures look! The rustic kitchen was a lovely setting on both the Friday and Saturday night and the wood fire pizzas were divine! The only two things I would say is a bit more knowledge could be given on the log burners. Such as you need a lot more wood than you expect! But after a quick trip to Aldi (10 minutes down the road) we were set for another day, and the toilets/showers that were the closest to the shepherd hut was closed which as going off peak we completely understand however would of been good to know! But apart from that we had a lovely weekend and definitely will be returning!! Thank you!!

Absolutely perfect stay yet again at Hopleys, the Rustic kitchen was outstanding with service and waiting times even when busy. We can’t wait to return

Our visit we stayed in a Shepard’s hut and it was perfect. The Shepard’s hut was just great - nice and clean and super cosy. The shared toilets and showers were always clean when we used them. The location was perfect for us as it was easily accessible to days out at Wyre forest and the safari park.

We will 100% be returning in the future and would recommend to anyone that was interested. Staff were lovely. Showers and toilets were clean. We stayed in one of the lodged and was gorgeous! Even just for camping with a tent or caravan would definitely recommend!

When for my daughter birthday really nice

What a fabulous shepherds hut! It had everything you needed for a mini break, from the kitchen equipment to the outside seating and of course decked private patio area with a fabulous hot tub and BBQ. Everything was immaculately cleaned and we even chatted to the cleaners who were so helpful and friendly. The quiz night at the rustic was great fun and the food was gorgeous - lovely pizza!! Created a great atmosphere. Facilities are well maintained and really tranquil location. Second time coming and will be back!

Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the toilets and facilities. Staff and cleaners etc were very friendly and helpful. Only downfall to me was the roads gravelled and rough. I worried children may fall and really hurt themselves. This, to me, was the only negative. Overall my dog and l really enjoyed our stay.

Overpriced, the photos make the hut look better than it is. Disappointing it does not come with firepit and the top bunk is unsafe. Also the water in the hot tub was smelly and slimy. Also, too noisy into the evening even before 10:30 with neighbours' shouting and overbearing loud music.
