Staff were rude and arrogant, the beds were damp, no security on the tents as all keys for all guests fit ALL the tents! Whilst we understood the 10.30pm be quiet rule our radio was on lower than our voices and got told rudely to turn it off. The on-site restaurant the rustic kitchen is terrible! Was run by teenagers who were all half dressed, took 25 mins just to get a drink and an hour and 20 mins passed and still no food. We ended up getting a refund and leaving! As we drove back on to site one evening I’m not sure if the young couple were residents or workers but they started shouting abuse at our car as we drove past and making hand gestures which I thought was disgusting as I had children in the car!! The toilet facilities for the women was ok could of been better but the mens were disgusting with faecal matter smeared on the back of the doors which remained there our whole stay!

Have to say everything about this site was really high quality and all the facilities you could ever need. My only small hesitation was the size of the site which meant the friends we arrived with were all spread out so we lost a little of our sense of closeness. The area is stunning and walks in the Wyre Forest and down in Bewdley were just lovely so I would definitely recommend this for a family friendly holiday destination. The team were really friendly too.

We stayed in a bell tent which was fantastic, if I was to be picky the only thing I would change was that the allocated eating area and fire pits were in line with the tents…

We stayed in a bell tent as we were attending a family birthday celebration. The campsite was well kept and facilities of a good quality. The rustic kitchen is a good asset to the site but couldn't cope with a large group. Furniture in the rent could have been arranged a little better to make use of the whole space and was very basic for £80 per night

Last time used the shepherd's Hut, this time the Bell Tent, our friends had tents. This site has lovely clean shower rooms and toilets. The beds in the Bell tent were very comfy, so would use again, as sleep is so important. Worked well with our 2 teenage daughters as separate single beds, unlike the yurts where they'd share a futon. The farm shop is awesome, has everything, well needed scourers but they accommodated that too! Everyone very helpful. The Rustic restaurant and bar was perfect, very reasonable prices and Friendly staff, fabulous food too. Loved the live music, so we all had a great laugh. This is a family site, so its a strict 10.30pm quiet time, if you want noisy drink all night kind of place go elsewhere cos you're not welcome. Thanks for a great stay.

We have just returned from our third visit and each time we have a fantastic time. Previously we have brought our motorhome, but this time we stayed in a Bell tent for a birthday treat. It was lovely. The onsite restaurant is fabulous and amazing service there as well as the quality of the food served. There was live music which was great fun. Absolutely recommend this site. All noise was stopped at 10:30pm and I felt that was very fair as it's a family site. You are also allowed camp fires which is an added bonus for us.

This year we had 5 nights in one of their bell tents for the first time at the start of August. As always the site was clean, the kids loved exploring the camp site area and the shower blocks regularly looked after and spotless. We used the Rustic Kitchen on our first night. Lovely atmosphere, food good and a good selection of drinks. No complaints about the bell tent either. Proper bed each for thr kids, double bed for us, electric sockets, heater etc. The cooking area specifically for the bell tents was clean and tidy also. Problem I had as always was the security. When it really matters, they are no-where. There were no problems until the last 2 nights. I had a group of lads trying to steal things around midnight and then on the last night we were the only ones using the bell tents as everyone else had gone home. Around 11.30pm a large group of lads came and settled around the picnic benches that come with the bell tents. They were swearing and generally being aggressive within their peer group. I was on my own as my partner had gone home. It woke the kids up who were scared. Every time I've been to Hopleys there has been difficulties with security and situations get out of hand. We go because it's a small negative out of the great experience and bonding with the kids the site provides you with. But it is something Hopleys need to address as a set of rules isnt enough. If customers are going to drink that cannot handle their alcohol, then for me it's time to invest in a proper security company maybe. I just dont know. They are great staff team and lovely people. One of those problems you wish would go away, but people are people and generally always an element that want to ruin it for others. Would we go back. Yes. If there was a solution to this we would go far more often also.

Rustic - Great Pizzas and reasonable value. Cafe - very well priced and nice food. Toilet and shower blocks at top of site are very tired and the actual toilet building was very dirty. Newer shower block on lower field could not cope with morning demand and ran out of hot water both mornings of our stay. Communal area for bell tents had not been cleaned when we arrived and was covered in bird excrement, cobwebs and old food. Footpaths - just having hardcore thrown down is not a great idea when young children are running about, pushchairs and wheel chairs struggle. Security on a night needs to more visible, the site rules are quiet after 11pm and I understand that it is not a full curfew but when certain groups are shouting and playing music after 1am it does get beyond a joke when trying to get children to sleep.
