I would go back but not yet as so many places to go. For a cheap wknd with a very good hot tub sells itself

We found the lodge to be cosy and with all the basic facilities we needed for a few days. The hot tub was a big hit; clean, relaxing and well sheltered. We had our golden retriever with us and the enclosed decking was perfect for allowing her to wonder in and out at will without worrying about her. The site was very nice and the big field was perfect for letting the dog stretch her legs throughout the day. Although our daughter couldn't really use the park due to the wet weather it looked like a nice touch for the kids. The only recommendation I would give would be for the sofa bed to be checked and cleaned as when we opened it out it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while and there was a few stains on the mattress. A mattress protector or topper would be useful.

When we arrived at riddings wood, staff were helpful in explaining which cabin we were staying in and stated to approach them if we had any queries. We entered the cabin and it was spotless. We went for my partners birthday and we were greeted with a birthday banner on the main door and on the door to the bathroom which was a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was handy, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits. The hot tub was clean and got up to a good temperature. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We also discussed returning again one day. Thank you :)

Has a really nice vibe to it but in effect your paying 113 pound per night to stay in what's realistically a garden shed. Don't get me wrong the hotubs are really nice.. but to have to pay that much per night.. you can pick up those hotubs for a grand and under. You do the maths. Stayed 2 nights 3 days. Only received 1 towel per person for the full 3 days bare in mind you have to use the shower before the hotub.. so by the end of the first night your towels already soaked beyond recognition!! Another 40-50 miles down the road and you can stay in a giant room with your own hotub and encases garden for 70 per night!.
