Lots of light, very warm and cosy and on day one (still March) we drank tea on the deck in the sun, other nights we used the wood burner. We had a peacock on the deck one breakfast, hoping for some food. It was very peaceful and nice to wander in the grounds among the sheep and lambs and to see Trevor the alpaca. Beds were very comfortable and I loved the walk-in and powerful ensuite shower. We were there to walk and the footpaths and roads, moors and river are all within easy reach, as is the Inn at Whitewell where we had a superb lunch one day.

Cabin very well maintained, clean and well-stocked with everything you need as a mini home-from-home. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff friendly and helpful. Currently only two cabins on site, so very private and peaceful with good views and access to the upper park whenever desired.
