Well behaved dogs are allowed in our pods, however you must bring your own bedding for them.
Our spacious washrooms are well appointed and open 24 hours. They boast individual wash cubicles with mirrors, free hot showers, hair dryers and a deep sink in the ladies for baby bathing. A large disabled room is available in both the ladies and gents, which can be used as a family cubicle.
A children’s play area is provided with a swing and climbing frame with slide. Children must be supervised whilst playing on site.
We have a small shop in reception selling essentials to stock you up when you run out. (Plus chocolate because that’s an essential in our eyes!)

The location was perfect as a base for our walking holiday. Good, clean facilities and plenty of hot water. The site wasn’t full when we stayed so didn’t have to wait too long to get into the shower when we came off the fells. Camping pod could have done with some more shelves/hooks - everything had to stay in bags on the floor during our 4 night stay. Welcoming staff on reception, but nobody regularly walking the site so breaches of the site’s Terms and Conditions not addressed.

My friends and I ate food in the bar area which was made to order so it was fresh and tasted gorgeous! Really lovely atmosphere across the whole camp, clean toilets and showers, lovely food, couldn’t ask for much more.

The pod was simple and very reasonably priced for an overnight stop. The heating was lovely. It is tight for space… a few shelves would help. And the fridge seems to be wasted space… a small table top fridge would be better with a few shelves underneath it to store... The pod was simple and very reasonably priced for an overnight stop. The heating was lovely. It is tight for space… a few shelves would help. And the fridge seems to be wasted space… a small table top fridge would be better with a few shelves underneath it to store clothes. Also no sitting apart from the bed. We thought from the photos that the seats turned into the bed but it was just a bed. Fridge was noisy all night too but sign said don’t turn off which we would have done as didn’t use it. But overall it was great stay. Toilet blocks etc all clean.

I booked the wrong date but this was easily rectified with a quick email. The newer pod is lovely, very well equipped with a comfortable sleeping platform and mattress. The campers kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, kettle and hob. As it happened we didn’t use this due to the fantastic Engine Shed on-site. The pizza was phenomenal on the Friday and the burger and pitta were equally as good on the Saturday. It was a shame we couldn’t get a coffee in the morning (the only thing that let it down). We will be back for another stay soon. Thank you again to the staff at Pennine View!

It was exactly what I needed for a few days fell walking. Basic, warm, and comfortable- perfect. Helpful and friendly staff, plus the 'Engine Shed ' on site to provide liquid sustenance and comfort food all combined to make a brilliant stay.

I thought the site was well laid out. First time in a POD and would use one again. Layout of POD was ok but single beds recommended as it was not laid out people with difficulty in movement. Toilets and bar facilities were Very good.
