The new Cabin (made from shipping containers, converted by ourselves here on the farm) set privately in a 3 acre field next to a babbling stream, at the bottom of the farm where there are lovely views of the surrounding North Devon Countryside. Couples and families can enjoy the peace and tranquillity away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Walk over the wooden bridge to the Cabin, children can play in the stream, add some more stones to the dam or just run around the 3 acre field.

The Crinkly Cabin contains a kitchen with off grid fridge, a two burner gas hob, hot and cold water, we made the kitchen worktop ourselves from concrete with semi-precious stones set in. There is an open plan living area with double doors giving access to the field the cabin is set in. In the living area is a wood burning stove with small oven above. There are two bedrooms each capable of sleeping up to 4. With a kingsize bed in each room, a single day bed with an occasional bed underneath, this bed can be moved from room to room if required. Just outside the door is the shower room with flushing loo, sink and large shower, hot water is provided by a gas boiler.

In a secluded area for cabin guests only, is a firepit with bbq plate, wood fired sauna, hot tub and outside seating. A short walk away, at the top of the field, past the chickens from whom you are welcome to collect fresh eggs for your breakfast, are more toilets, showers, a bigger fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and electric sockets in case you can’t quite manage off grid for too long.

Prices for the Crinkly Cabin

£185 per night for all bookings of two nights or more for up to four people, there after £12.50 per person per night for adults, £6 for children. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the cabin £5 a night.
