Bamburgh Under Canvas is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Glororum, which is one mile, or a 15 minute walk, to lovely bustling Bamburgh.

At Bamburgh Under Canvas you are surrounded by the glorious Northumbrian countryside with each tent sited to maximise privacy and offering stunning views of the Cheviots, which are idyllic on any day.

Night fall is truly spectacular, there is nothing better than keeping warm outside by the roaring fire pit and enjoying the starry night sky.

In Bamburgh you will find a variety of fantastic shops and eateries such as The Potted Lobster, The Victoria Hotel and the infamous R Carter & Son Butchers to name just a few.

Our Lotus Bell tents sleep a maximum of two guests on a double 2000 pocket sprung mattress with hotel quality bed linen as well as soft towels, throws and cushions. The stove is the perfect addition for keeping you cosy in the evenings or on those blustery days and can also provide you with your morning coffee if you wish. Each tent will have a bbq/fire-pit for romantic nights overlooking the cheviots, as well as a gas stove for when you just can’t wait to get those sausages sizzling! There is nothing worse than warm fizz, beer or milk so we will provide you with your own cool box to keep those important refreshments chilled.

We want your stay at Bamburgh Under Canvas to be as relaxing as possible, so will also provide battery packs in each tent as well as battery powered table lamps for you to use at your convenience when the nights draw in, although you may want to bring a torch for the short walk to the toilets!

Our toilets are situated in two newly refurbished horse boxes, which both feature hot running showers, toilets and basins, as well as eco friendly toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash.
