Luxury Castle Pod

Arrived at the site and were greeted by very friendly, helpful staff. Easy check-in. We were taken to the pod by one of the staff who gave a comprehensive explanation of all the facilities in the pod and the hot tub. The site is in a lovely location with amazing... We were taken to the pod by one of the staff who gave a comprehensive explanation of all the facilities in the pod and the hot tub. The site is in a lovely location with amazing views. We had our own bathroom so didn't use the amenity block. We ordered pizzas for tea on the Friday and they were delicious. All in all an excellent weekend, would definitely stay here again.

We found the place by complete chance last year and as soon as we saw it, we were so blown away by the extremely high standards of the entire... We found the place by complete chance last year and as soon as we saw it, we were so blown away by the extremely high standards of the entire site and wonderful luxury accommodation on offer, that we made this our choice for our Anniversary and what an absolute gem of a place it is Each Castle Pod has its own private decking area and hot tub and everything inside the pod is of the highest quality and cleanest standards to ensure your stay is nothing short of the perfect stay. The seating area had a very comfortable corner sofa, with plenty of cushions, a smart TV, which included Netflix, Now TV etc, along with a very strong individual internet connection. The kitchen area has a convection top, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, and all pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and extras you could wish for, and there is a 2 person dining are to enjoy you

My son and I recently stayed at Herding Hill Farm and all I can say is what a gem this site is. The site itself is well set out with some great facilities, we stayed in one of the Castle Pods, which was perfect for the two of us and provided much more facilities than... The site itself is well set out with some great facilities, we stayed in one of the Castle Pods, which was perfect for the two of us and provided much more facilities than the norm. The pod itself was finished and furnished to a very high standard. The hot tub and decking area are amazing as well with a stunning view over the recently set up wildlife pond and the views South towards the North Pennines. The staff and owners couldn't be more helpful and were brilliant from the moment we arrived. Well placed for some of the most scenic, accessible, and interesting parts of Hadrian's wall, with Kielder Forest and Water only a stone's throw away. Will definitely be going back. Thank you

From entering the pod which was to be home for 4 nights I was very impressed. It had a pine smell of new wood . It was in a perfect place for star gazing and walking the roman Wall. Unfortunately for us it was cloudy 3 nights out of the four but the night we did see... From entering the pod which was to be home for 4 nights I was very impressed. It had a pine smell of new wood . It was in a perfect place for star gazing and walking the roman Wall. Unfortunately for us it was cloudy 3 nights out of the four but the night we did see the stars it was amazing with it being in a dark valley. Also only 5 mins drive form the planetarium at Twice Brewed. The hot tub was amazing and the way each pod is placed they are all very private. There are lots of extras the staff have added to make the experience better hot water bottles , rugs a coffee machine. We found the underfloor heating enough but there is a log fire with logs and fire lighters. A great few days away and we will more than likely return.

I visited the site in March for my birthday so it was super quiet - just what I needed! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and I settled in straight away for the most beautiful relaxing 4 nights. I had the party pack for my luxury pod so there were beautiful... I had the party pack for my luxury pod so there were beautiful fairy lights that I could enjoy twinkling away while I was in my hot tub - in the snow on one day! Absolute heaven :-) the place was immaculate and the attention to detail meant that everything I needed was there. Wonderful experience thank you so much.

We stayed in the Castle Pod which was really clean and warm and all we needed were clothes, food and drink. The hot tub was amazing where we could relax and take in the views during the day and be in awe of the stars at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful... The local village is only a 5 minute drive away with plenty of shops, food places and pubs. We have been to Herding Hill Farm 4 times now and plan on going again this year!

Awesome views with a nice little petting area. 1 mile from haltwhistle nice little town great spots to get food and drink. We can't wait to come back

Log burner, underfloor heating coffee machine fully equipped would have quite happily stayed forever

We are quite local to the area so just wanted somewhere to go to relax for a couple of days and chill out, couldn’t of asked for anything better. Felt like we where a million miles away from home, from the minute we arrived at the site . Friendly warden who showed us... Felt like we where a million miles away from home, from the minute we arrived at the site . Friendly warden who showed us to our pod and explained how everything worked , the castle pod itself was amazing very modern very clean. we loved the log burner and the hot tub was amazing. Lots of of lovely little extras like a coffee machine , free Wi-Fi , tv and lovely kitchen area and bathroom , bed very comfy. Had a lovely walkabout the site aswell visiting all the animals . We will definaltly be back for another break in the future . The site is very central aswell for local amenities and plenty places to visit nearby. And the site is very clean . Lovely seeing the animals on arrival to the site.
