Claire met us on arrival and was very helpful and attentive and friendly. The tent was absolutely gorgeously adorned with colourful and fun decorations which made it feel really ‘glam’. And the fairy lights are perfect. There was everything we needed there to hand. I loved that the sites were divided up by the surrounding foliage. It gave good privacy and segregation. The views are fantastic and Ely is a beautiful place to visit! ;-) The access to a fridge and charging points was brilliant, although a way to make the charging points more secure would be even better. The children loved the little play area however I felt there could have been a bit more in the children’s area. Also the slide wasn’t really useable as the way it had been set up made it too steep. Both children hurt themselves a bit coming down. That said, the kids loved just wandering around the site and exploring. The showers could possibly do with an upgrade but the toilets were fine and everything was very clean. We had a great time and would love to visit again. Thank you for having us!
So pleased you enjoyed your first glamp experience and the site overall. Thank you for feeding back - I will look at the slide and see what we can add. Claire

The site is nicely themed throughout around the story of Alice in Wonderland. Our bell tent was the best appointed I had ever come across, complete with very comfortable beds, duvets, pillows, crockery and cooking equipment as well as pretty soft furnishings, tables and chairs. We enjoyed the privacy afforded by the tall grass around each pitch, which each had their own little clearing. Claire was a very welcoming and helpful host, always smiling. There's a shower and toilet block which was regularly cleaned, with an extra shower on the ladies' side. Logs were readily available for the firepit and our gas cylinder was changed as soon as we asked for it to be replaced. All in all, a really lovely stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. Thank you!
Thank you for the feedback and really useful to hear the glamping tent was set up well - I have never glamped so really good to know. Claire

Delightful in almost every way, just let down by 2 things. One is that the total absence of signage on the road made it very hard to find, the second was the toilet and shower facilities: the toilets would benefit from smartening up, and from more toilet roll. There aren't enough showers and the temperature was unpredictable - swinging between scalding and freezing. It would be great to have something to step out onto that isn't a puddle, too. But the rest of the campsite (we had a glamping tent) is one of the nicest I've been to.
Thank you for the feedback, sorry the showers let you down - we are now installing a water pressure pump to maintain a constant pressure at the showers and 2 more showers to the block. Thank you for the feedback, sorry the showers let you down - we are now installing a water pressure pump to maintain a constant pressure at the showers and 2 more showers to the block. I have added trays to the showers to stand on. Toilet rolls - sometimes guests take the spares, and I am reluctant to use the big locked rolls as I like the ethos behind Green Cane. Claire
