Lordstones is a privately owned Country Park offering glamping in the North York Moors National Park.
Our Glamping Pods are hand built and bespoke to us, they offer more space than the standard 'Mega Pods' available at other glamping sites, they have also just recently been given a fresh new look, making them among the most desirable pods for glamping in Yorkshire!
The pods are located in their own secluded Pod Village, surrounded by ponds and have beautiful Moorland views.
Each glamping pod contains a small washroom with toilet and wash basin, a double bed & double sofa-bed and can comfortably sleep up to 4 people and are ideal for 2 Adults & 2 Children. There is also a small kitchenette area with travel kettle, under counter fridge and basin and dining table & chairs. Guests have access to a wood burning stove to keep them warm on their Yorkshire glamping trip and each pod has a personal outdoor decking area with seating and a cast iron BBQ.
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights and we are a pet friendly glamping site, accepting pets in two of our pods (subject to availability).
Just a stone's throw from your accommodation you will find; The Lordstones Shop, selling local produce including our own hand-reared beef and all the camping essentials from logs to lemonade! You will also find The Lordstones cafe which is the perfect destination for a quick coffee stop, or an enjoyable lunch and The Belted Bull Restaurant which offers the finest quality, locally sourced produce. The restaurant is open from 6 till late, Thursday through to Saturday.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to pre-book bedding & towels or bring your own. Our glamping pods do not contain any cutlery or crockery.

The pod was clean and cosy, just the right one for a weekend stay. Julia was very friendly and helpful at the shop and sorted out keys and other stuff with h no fuss. Fantastic views of North Yorkshire moors. Might consider returning with our tent next time.

Table and chairs. Toilet. Microwave, kettle, sink. Fridge. Cutlery and crockery. Log burner. Had outdoor furniture and a fire pit. It’s set in a lovely location with absolutely loads of different walks around the immediate area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The cafe is lovely and a decent stocked shop. Food was lovely from the cafe too. Private show facilities were great as you get a key for the block. Definitely explore the forest and find the ponds. 100% will be booking the same again this year.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend and go again. The food was very nice and the staff were lovely and very welcoming. We didn’t go to any surrounding areas and the weather wasn’t very good but we enjoyed staying in the lodge.

Staff were very helpful and friendly although when I rang to book I was told there would be longlife milk and there wasn't which sounds trivial but we had no milk for tea. Our pod was lovely and clean on arrival but we discovered that the outside light didn't work. ... Our pod was lovely and clean on arrival but we discovered that the outside light didn't work. The shower block was very clean. One thing that would be nice and many other sites offer is enough wood for a starter fire, I thought the logs were super expensive as was most things in the shop. Lovely walks from the site and fabulous views, Stokesley was a lovely town with good amenities. All in all a pleasant stay.

Out walking in the hills during the days seeing the beautiful views and the scenery as the place is perfectly situated for. We stayed in one of the pods wich again was well kept, clean and tidy it felt like a little home from home. Only 1 downside is my friend complained that the mattress had a bit of a delve in the middle wich led to a bit of a funny sleep. Apart from that the accommodation was great. We ate at the restaurant on the night and again the food was great and well priced to. The servers kept us well attended to and even took care of a few odd requests we had. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be returning again in the spring / summer time.

Staff were very miserable, they just didn’t want to be there at all! Glamping pod was very run down floor was dirty and log burner fire cord was hanging out! It hadn’t been serviced in years. The whole glamping pod was full of smoke very dangerous.

We booked last minute off peak during a weekday. The pod was perfect for two nights, really quiet and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Apart from the local wildlife which my girlfriend loved. Will definitely be back.
