This was our 4th time visiting hillcroft. We love it here. Perfect location, within walking distance of the village, but out of the way enough to appreciate the amazing countryside views. Staff are lovely and friendly and the facilities are second to none. We are just waiting for next year's dates to be released so we can book our return visit. Thanks again

We have been coming for the past 12 years at Easter. We come with 4 other families. The staff are amazing and friendly. The guys in the pizza van are awesome. We love coming to see you all each year. We have already booked for Easter 2025. We started in tents and then moved to the glamping pods. They are fantastic and would highly recommend. The toilet and shower block is extremely clean and lovely. We would highly recommend anyone wanting to camp or glamp to book

We have been coming to Hillcroft Park for around 15rs every Easter and have already booked again for next year. We have camped in tents and for the last 2yrs stayed in the Glamping pods. Couldn't recommend this place enough! The shower/toilet block is spotless, the staff are amazing, the caterers that come on to site are also amazing and have delicious food and the location is just perfect for a walk into Pooley Bridge or to the lake! Always look forward to visiting!!

Pod was clean and tidy, warm and had everything we needed. Dogs loved it and was close to walk to town

We have visited Hillcroft Park over a number of years, we have returned many times and will be returning again at some point of 2024, the park it’s self is spotlessly clean, glamping pods are also spotless and have almost everything you need the only thing I feel is missing is a TV as after a long day exploring the local area a cosy evening on the sofa with a film would be a lovely end to the day.The staff at the reception and around the site are very friendly and the food hut staff are lovely too.We always have a great stay whatever the weather it’s in a great location only a few minutes walk in to Pooley bridge, access to many local walks/hikes and the lakes.Dog friendly too within Hillcroft and the local pubs and shops.

We stayed in one of the glamping pods, very homely and warm. The pod was also very clean and well laid out. My parents were staying in a tourer which was easily in walking distance. Great distance into Pooley Bridge as well as a short drive into Keswick and Penrith. Would recommend the Crown Inn in Pooley Bridge, lovely food.

Great facilities, great locarion. Always very friendly staff. Stayed many times and keeo coming back.

We've visited Hillcroft Park many times before in the basic camping pods. As it was a special occasion we decided to go for the Glamping Pods. We weren't disappointed. The space was fantastic and very handy to have your own bathroom although I do enjoy the fantastic onsite shower facilities available at Hillcroft which are the best I've experience.A couple of points for feedback specifically with the Glamping Pods.- The drawer at the end of the bed didn't open which would have been very helpful for storage- An extractor in the cooking area would be helpful, when cooking breakfast our smoke alarm was repeatedly going off which was a bit embarrassing not to mention cold when we had to open all doors and windows.- Some kind of ambient lighting would be nice for the evening as you either had to have the bright main lights on or just the bedroom wall light which wasn't very bright.
