A Glamping Experience without comprise!

Grenadier Lodge is a modern stylish Safari lodge taking its name from a variety of cider apple grown in the surrounding orchards.

You are warmly welcomed to this attractively furnished and well appointed bespoke lodge which was built in 2022. Unlike other Safari tents, we have combined the use of canvass for that authentic camping feel with the added benefit of a wooden structure allowing our lodges to be used all year round.

Boasting a spacious open plan family living area where you can gather around the farmhouse table or relax on the comfortable sofas whilst chatting and creating those wonderful family moments. A modern kitchen with oven, hob and fridge gives the basics for any budding Master Chef. Full length patio doors open up to a raised decking area with seating for the whole family where you soak up the open views and enjoy the natural and relaxed rural setting.

This lodge is ideal for the growing family offering two compact double bedrooms both with double beds one of which can be split to provide twin single beds and a third single bedroom. Your own modern shower room with flushing loo and wash basin completes the luxury glamping experience which awaits you.

Outside the lodge there is a fire pit and outdoor seating ready for you to use. Cars are parked in a car park at the entrance, so the site is traffic free. Carts are provided as carriages for your luggage.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Grenadier but only a maximum of two are permitted.

All bedding and towels are provided with additional rugs and hot water bottles to keep you cosy at night. Travel cots and high chairs can be provided upon request.

Somerset is still something of a hidden gem. Cars trundling along the M5, very often destined for Devon and Cornwall, unknowingly pass this spacious, unspoilt, characterful county. Boasting coast, enormous rural charm and natural beauty, fascinating history and it's own special culture, it is a welcoming county with a big heart, and lots of cheese and cider. Try saying Somerset without smiling!
