This campsite was a treat! Everything was very well organised, clean and positioned in some of the most glorious countryside. In particular, the facilities block was very good, the bothy was large and useful and I stayed in the hobbit huts which were excellent and warm!

Everything at Barrow campsite was perfect and we had a good time. The only thing I would change would be to put a fridge in the pods. It was great having a toaster but there was nowhere to put butter. It was nice having a sink but there are toilets with sinks on the site so a fridge would be better use of the space. A microwave would be another useful addition.

Quiet site and very open, the tree planting program will make a difference. Didn't see any staff except on departure to report a few small issues, he was friendly and explained that he was aware. No facility to freeze cool packs. Ideal location and close to town and beach

Great beach nearby with plenty to do (sea swimming, kid's splash park, fairground rides, cafes, boat trips at harbour etc).Toilets & showers spotless. Staff very welcoming and hospitable. Site was quiet too. Would highly recommend to couples and families alike.

Mr E Stuart - Stayed Jun 2021
Cycled here to a basic pod. Unable to cycle on the access roads because of the surface. Felt a bit isolated in the wee pod. The site is very basic but the lack of anything nearby was not good for me on a bike. I like quiet but this was too quiet.
