Glamping Pod (Sleeps 4)

Breakfast service in the cafe needs improving waited over 40 mins. Other than this staff very helpful and polite and site is great

We have used croft farm for many years, staying in a tent, glamping pods, cabins and caravan. We love the park its in a great location for meeting family and friends and has a lovely lake. The bar entertainment is usually good but always too loud for the small bar.... We have used croft farm for many years, staying in a tent, glamping pods, cabins and caravan. We love the park its in a great location for meeting family and friends and has a lovely lake. The bar entertainment is usually good but always too loud for the small bar. Unfortunately it doesn't make a five star review because there's not enough showers near the glamping pods, they are not big enough to get changed in and often one will be out of order. The other negative is the food isn't the best (although my kids love the pizzas) and the bar and restaurant is always let down by the staff messing up orders. The staff is a longterm issue. Something we experienced from our first visit years ago.

First impressions - Pod was clean/tidy on arrival. *Little separated area with a couple of chairs to sit at small table. *Pod was warm on arrival (had additional fan heater if needed) *Mattresses on the bunks were comfortable, wide & covered in clean soft linen (slept amazingly well) *Small kettle in room came in handy. *Plenty of plug sockets!! *laminated floor was clean & very practical. *Little bit of faux foliage in room added a home from home feel. *plenty of storage space/shelving & wall mounted coat/clothes hanger kept bulky clothing out of the way. *Toilet/shower/bar/restaurant/lake a 20 second walk away * Pod well insulated - no outside noise issues at all. *No webs or spiders (previous pod stays at other venues often have this issue). Negatives - Only 1 shower in male toilets working. Female toilets were unclean, shower tray filled up & not draining well. Temp regulation on shower difficult to control .Pod window blind could do with being a black-out one.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a pod and it was clean, warm & more spacious than i thought. The toilet area was kept clean too. The lake was well maintained & plenty water sports to do. The Cafe needs to invest in bigger plates!

Dog park is out of action at the moment, I feel that should have been mentioned on booking, especially when when we booked with a dog! Drinking water point was hard to locate and far from the pods. We stayed midweek, in school time so very quiet. I imagine this would... We stayed midweek, in school time so very quiet. I imagine this would be a very different experience if it had been busy. That being said our experience was very positive and we enjoyed our time.

Only thing to moan at was restaurant couldn’t get in to it as functions and staff not the most helpful in the restaurant.

Had a fabulous shirt break in a camping pod, loved the proximatey to the lake, club house and toilet facilities. Not every pod had a picnic bench which was a shame as would have liked one. Super friendly staff and the shop is stocked with necessities (rope to secure a splash deck purchased lol). Our dog loved the lake, as did ourselves and the children. Lots of avarian wildlife to admire, particularly loved the flocks of geese that flew over

Group of 15 which was friends/family/kids and 3 dogs! We are already planning to book for next year had a fabulous time, the lake is stunning, water activities are also really good. Love the idea that above the dog waste bins they provide dog bags! Every time I went into the ladies there was always someone cleaning! Clubhouse food was good and very reasonably priced for the portion sizes! Drinks had good deals on too.. fantastic place looking forward to 2023!

Our boys did the Action Day - they had a blast. Luke was fantastic with them and made the experience memorable.
