This is the second time we have stayed here. We came for our anniversary in February and returned with the dog this week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We do feel the 'dog friendly' cabin could have been more dog friendly. The gate didn't close properly and was held... This is the second time we have stayed here. We came for our anniversary in February and returned with the dog this week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We do feel the 'dog friendly' cabin could have been more dog friendly. The gate didn't close properly and was held together with an iPhone charger which isnt secure (this made us feel uncomfortable leaving our dog unattended), there were no dog bowls and no blanket/cover to protect the leather sofas. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Riddings Lodge was amazing, myself and my husband stopped in one of the woodland lodges for our 5th year wedding anniversary for a weekend break. The Lodge was clean and had everything that we needed. The hot tub and the scenery was the highlight. We'll definitely... I've stayed at Riddings Wood before- on the camp site and had a great stay. This time we stayed in the cabins. I was a bit disappointed on arrival as they don't have a view beyond a car park. There is nothing on site to justify the cost and they definitely don't accommodate a family. It was a pleasant stay, the man on reception is very nice but overpriced for what it is. I think there are cheaper places in a much nicer setting.

The location was great, it was perfect for our needs and the fire pit / BBQ area was a unique touch with the lodges. The actual lodge was very clean and had lots of linen, the only two areas of improvement would be the sofa bed mattresses were so thin it was very... The lights in the lodge, the reading lights need to be on a separate circuit so they can be used independently of the main lights, otherwise they are pointless!

Cabins were sufficient- bathroom a little tired and in need of some repair but functional enough. Welcoming touches were nice- biscuits etc Greta to have towels also!
