In addition, all the lodges have their own, private hot tub, in it's own, covered over outbuilding on the side of each lodge. This is included in the price and is for your exclusive use for the duration of your stay.
Glamping in the East Midlands offers visitors a whole range of fun activities and family days out in Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. We came for our anniversary in February and returned with the dog this week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We do feel the 'dog friendly' cabin could have been more dog friendly. The gate didn't close properly and was held together with an iPhone charger which isnt secure (this made us feel uncomfortable leaving our dog unattended), there were no dog bowls and no blanket/cover to protect the leather sofas. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again.

I was a bit disappointed on arrival as they don't have a view beyond a car park. The hot tub was nice, but again I would be preferable to have a view. They face a fence. There is nothing on site to justify the cost and they definitely don't accommodate a family. It was a pleasant stay, the man on reception is very nice but overpriced for what it is. I think there are cheaper places in a much nicer setting.

The location was great, it was perfect for our needs and the fire pit / BBQ area was a unique touch with the lodges. The actual lodge was very clean and had lots of linen, the only two areas of improvement would be the sofa bed mattresses were so thin it was very uncomfortable as a result we had little sleep. The lights in the lodge, the reading lights need to be on a separate circuit so they can be used independently of the main lights, otherwise they are pointless!
