We stayed in a cabin, good size for small families, which comes with everything you’d need for a little holiday! (Excludes blankets and towels) Situated next to the cute dinosaur walk which we took to get to the washing up station, toilets and showers. Short walk to the pool, mostly empty during school term times, really nice, we were in there every day (sometimes twice). The children’s play area has very little to do in it. But it’s okay. The restaurant was closed during our stay as it was a quiet time so we can’t comment on that. The shop carries most of the necessities if you’re in a pinch. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

The Lodge restaurant on the site served delicious food with friendly staff. The swimming pool whilst fairly small was clean and warm! The site is a great base to explore the local area. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey hole and a half an hour drive from fab coastal towns such as Brean, Burnham and Weston. Lots of fun was had and we would love to visit again one day!

"Nicely laid out park with good views"

(one group started their outdoor party just after midnight and went on until about 4) - I realize the site cannot pick the clients but these were on well established seasonal pitches and so must have been known to the site.

We stayed in a camping cabin and was impressed with all the things included. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of space and storage. Shower and toilet blocks were very clean and lovely hot water we also hired a bath as my daughters don't like showers so added bonus having a bath. Girls loved the dinosaur trail, park and swimming pool. Shop onsite selling anything you have forgotten and pocket money treats. Lodge had great food and games and colouring sheets to keep children entertained whilst we waited for food.

Our cabin was brilliant and we loved it so much we've rebooked to visit again in August.

We booked a camping cabin at fairly short notice as it was close to both Wells and Cheddar. We did not expect much but were very pleasantly surprised. The cabin was a really good size, lovely comfy bed, evetyhing u need, toilet facilities a short walk. The park was quiet so we had no problems with the shower blocks or washup. However they are quite small so could see them being a little problematic when camping field is full, however they were very clean Ideally situated between cheddar and wells, the facilities were nice, food in the lodge inn was excellent and fairly priced as was drink. If you are in the area then a visit down the road to the cider barn is a must do. Overall a lovely relaxing weekend and we will definitely be booking again
