Gaia’s Hideaway is approached from a path at the South-East corner of Upper Hurst Farm Caravan and Camping site leading down to a secluded corner surrounded by trees, natural hedgerows and with open views to the Peak District hills.

This truly is a magical little hideaway. When you open the door of your Yurt in the morning you will see the sun rise and you can’t help but hear the prolific birdsong. Peace and tranquillity is guaranteed.

The private, luxurious 6-person wood-fired hot tub is heated for your arrival and provides a sensual daytime or nighttime bathing experience.

The South-East aspect means that you will have shade in some places and sunshine all day long on the decking area so sun-bathing is definitely on the menu.

There is a gas BBQ outside, perfect for alfresco dining with a view.

Set in Staffordshire's Manifold Valley yet walking distance to the Derbyshire Dales, Gaia's Hideaway is nestled on the border of these two fabulous counties, in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Cycle trails, hiking, open water swimming, picturesque villages and stately homes are within reach of the hideaway. Farm shops, ice cream parlours, cafes and cosy pubs galore, Gaia's Hideaway is the perfect place for exploring what the Peak District has to offer. We are very rural so peace and tranquillity is assured, whilst being central to the four major towns: Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Leek. There are lots of places to eat nearby and a pub within walking distance. There's so much to explore here, you won't be bored!

Gaia’s Hideaway sleeps 2 and is dog friendly. 1 net of kiln dried hardwood is included free of charge for the hot tub and 1 pack of 12 compressed heat logs is included for the fireplace. Additional logs are available to purchase if necessary. Towels, dressing gowns, toiletries, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a breakfast hamper is provided. Tea, coffee, sugar, nespresso pods, salt and pepper are also provided. Just bring yourself and some slippers!
