Do you want to escape to a secluded hideaway where you can unpack and unwind in your own private meadow? Do you yearn for the excitement of the great outdoors with the comfort of a king-sized bed to collapse into at the end of the day? With all of the luxury inside, and surrounded by nature outside, Marsh Farm offers the perfect rural getaway.
Fully equipped with en suite bathroom and rainfall shower, kitchenette and super-cosy log burner for those chillier evenings - once you arrive you may never want to leave…
Fire up the BBQ or grab a glass of bubbles and lie back and relax under the stars in our beautiful roll-top bath. Once you’ve settled in how much, or how little, you do is entirely up to you. Explore the area with our award-winning local pub, plan your trip to the coast, or just kick back in comfort in your own private sanctuary.
We can provide breakfast or BBQ hampers waiting in the hut upon your arrival, or why not hire a trio of hens for your stay and collect your own fresh eggs! At certain times of the year the sheep have access to the field (but not the area surrounding the hut!) so you may wake up to find them wandering past the window.
Here at the farm we’re all about the luxury whilst getting back to nature and enjoying the great outdoors. So get ready to unpack, unplug and unwind in the heart of the Somerset Levels.
We are located in a small village in the beautiful Somerset Levels. Our shepherd hut is situated in its own private field surrounded by nature and completely secluded. We have an award winning pub, organic farm shop and cafe all within walking distance. Glastonbury is just half an hour away with its famous Tor and Festival, and the Jurassic Coast is within an hour's drive. We are surrounded by beautiful walks and cycle routes and the Parrett river is just down the road with options for kayak hire and paddle-boarding.
There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to choose from if you don't fancy cooking out under the stars or inside the hut itself, and don't forget that Somerset is famous for its cider - there are lots of places to sample some of the local producers! There really is so much to do and explore in this peaceful, quirky and picturesque part of the world.
Flittermouse is off-grid (but on mains water) so there are no 3-pin sockets, just 2 USB chargers. Why not take the opportunity to unplug from the stresses of everyday life and kick back at Marsh Farm...
