Positives of the campsite: Swimming pool was very good for the kids Great having a bar with food Nice park to keep the kids busy while ordering food and having a drink The showers were a nice temperature Negatives The pod we stayed in is plonked on top of a hill and had no space around it what so ever. The picture is not what it actually looks like, very misleading. We managed to fit 2 chairs on the grass infront of the dooe but that was it. It isn't on its own pitch and everyone walked across "our pitch" so we never felt like we had our own space. Not exactly what you expect when you are paying more than then tent pitches. It's directly opposite the toilets (I know someone has to be) but you could of atleast had it facing away from it, not directly looking on to them. The noise of the children screaming and running around at gone 10pm is just unacceptable. We won't be returning unfortunately.

The pod looks a little tired on the outside. There’s a damp issue in the ladies shower/toilet area. And the lines needed to be cleaned in the bar as the larger tasted bad and had things floating around.

The location of the park itself is ideal, only a short drive from Cheddar and Wookey hole. Beautiful views from the entrance/exit. We arrived on 30/8 so season was winding down, so site was reasonably quiet which we enjoyed. Indoor pool was quite each time we arrived, likewise the outdoor play area. Not a great deal for the kids in the eve but then that didn't bother us as we prefer to stay at our tent or pod as we did this year. Toilet block, nothing wrong with it, always stocked with toilet paper, not always left clean but that was no fault of the park staff more so one or two campers. We stayed in the pod and on arrival I was surprised at how little space there was, had never stayed in a pod wanted to try, luckily there was only 3 of us which gave us the other single bed for our clothes/food/toiletries etc. We all slept well in the pod, and set up our camp outside like we ordinarily would a tent, so overall experience of a pod was good, however we'll probably go back to the tent as there is more room. There are a few hooks in the pod for hanging coats or towels, maybe they would benefit from some shelves for other essentials. But overall lovely place to stay and would definitely go back.
