The staff were very friendly and helpful, Misty loved being fostered for the morning. Within easy reach of local attractions and not too far from the sea.

"Good Site for Cheddar and Wells"

Mr J Stevens - Stayed with family, Aug 2022

Friendly and helpful site staff. Good location for Cheddar Gorge, Wells etc. Stayed hottest week of the year so air conditioning in the bar area would have be helpful. Good range of food and drinks.

"Car-free glamping"

Dr S Doshi - Stayed with family, Aug 2022

This site worked brilliantly for us coming by bus. We arrived via Wells, visited Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, then came home via Weston-super-mare (all easily accessible by bus from outside the gate). Cabin was great, showers were fine, didn't really use much else.

"Family friendly"

Miss J Tilcock - Stayed with family, Jun 2022

Great park to stay in with family friendly facilities. We stayed in cabin 1 quite close to bar and swimming pool and was surprisingly quiet. Close to surrounding towns, 10 min drive or they are on the bus route.

I emailed the site on my return home, and heard nothing back about how awful the cabin we stayed in was, we didn’t use the outside cooking area as cooker look so dirty and in disrepair, and the so called cupboard with all the pots and pans in was black with what look like mould, and the back screen was covered in what look liked grease, The cabin didn’t look like anything that was advertised on your site, the outside needed a paint the table and chairs has seen better days, just awful and how you can still charge people for this cabin is beyond me, we left a day earlier than we paid for as we were just so fed up with microwave meals due to the fact we couldn’t/ didn’t want to use the awful outside space. Inside the curtain had a stain on, and cobwebs everywhere. I can honestly say I won’t be back and will not be recommending your site to anyone, even people I’m not keen on!!!

The toilets were only cleaned in the morning so by the end of the evening were disgusting. The showers were limited so we had to wait one evening so meant our dinner got left too long. The showers weren’t the cleanest considering we have just come out of a pandemic they got very dirty quickly. The drainage holes were scummy my hand was black went I bent down to pick up my shower gel and the water didn’t wash away quick enough through the drain holes. The cozy cabin wasn’t cozy with hundreds of cobwebs and spiders. It wouldn’t hurt to Hoover between stays and hose down the outside area. It wasn’t very nice cooking surrounded by dirt and cobwebs and a greasy kitchen tidy the material needed a good scrub. It could’ve been presented so much nicer and more cozy. The mattresses and facilities of it very good but just felt so dirty and tired. The fridge/freezer was dirty too. The park area was small so maybe a few swings and a couple more things for the kids. Going mid week meant we had no entertainment on offer. The kitchen stopped cooking by 8pm and when we collected our take away and asked for separate beans in a pot they mixed in the carton so it was all spread and mixed on our other food. Would’ve been nice to order food a little later as we had done some excursions. The surrounding area was stunning! Was a perfect location for seeing cheddar gorge and the staff of bucklegrove we spoke to were warm and friendly
