Croft Farm Water Park is located just outside Tewkesbury in the scenic River Avon Valley, with a caravan and camping park adjacent to our own lake as well as glamping facilities for group glamping or individual getaways without the hassle of bringing your own tent! The wide range of watersports activities and tuition on offer provide added interest for those wanting a more active holiday.

Come glamping in Gloucestershire and enjoy the comfort of a timber roof over your head but still feel close to nature with our camping pods.

Ditch the tent pegs and enjoy getting close to nature in a wooden camping pod. You’ll appreciate the warmth and dryness of a wooden pod whatever the weather.

This is our Pod Village. The ideal spot for group glamping near the River Avon. Each heated glamping pod will either feature two bunk beds or a double bed, sleeping up to 4 people. A private toilet & shower block is located nearby and all the pods are lockable, featuring a standard 230v double socket for charging those essential camping gadgets! All you need to bring is a sleeping bag and pillow.

Please note: Pod A has a double bed, although this can be changed to a triple room for group bookings making the maximum occupancy for the nine pods 35.

The pods are a great choice for couple or family getaways or friends looking for somewhere central to meet up and go glamping in Avon Valley!

"Great Place"

Mr M Anderson - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

A great camping site with pods and cabins. The children loved the water sports and the surrounding countryside.

"Pod"

Mrs D Richardson - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

Pod was much smaller than we had anticipated.

Martin, replied to this review on the 23 August 2019

Sorry the pod was smaller than expected. There are photos on the website give an idea of what size to expect,

"Weekend with grand children"

M Lester - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

Nice time with friends and family but would not stay again in a pod far too basic more facilities in my garden shed

Martin, replied to this review on the 23 August 2019

Thanks for your review. We don't advertise the pods as luxury, the photos show are clear, but if that is what you require we have our luxury lodges to rent although there is a difference in price.

I used the lake once to do a little canoeing which was fun, the air hockey in the games room could do with a new disc as one supplied is badly damaged. but overall had a good stay.

Thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Will have a look at getting cobwebs removed and the hockey disc replaced.

"Very limited for all"

Mrs J Tamber - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

This site is only as good as the weather and unfortunately we had poor weather so couldn’t do a lot of the activities available on site. Also the food is very boring and bars not even open on a Sunday. Left early as could do the activities in my garden

Unfortunately we are not yet able to control the weather but with a positive attitude your stay would surely have been more enjoyable. Not sure why you are complaining about the bar not being open on a Sunday (in fact you are incorrect although the opening times are reduced) because your overnight stay was on the Friday when the bar would have been open until 11pm. Whilst you are of course entitled to your opinion that the food is boring there is a range of food available in the cafe. We offer a range of water sports with tuition in sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking so if you can do all those activities in your garden that is impressive!

Croft Farm is a nice place for an escape, we've only stayed in the Pod which is basic but it's nice and warm and dry, reasonably priced and a lot less hassle than camping and all the packing involved. I've only ever stayed one night but apart from a cafe and a bar for adults there is plenty for the kids to do: adventure playground, water activities, games room and it's very close to Tewkesbury if you need to pop and get anything. The staff are nice and helpful too, I managed to forget bedding and they hired me some and didn't laugh at me!!

Very good site. Staff friendly. We had an excellent stay. Played in the lake most days. Our girls are looking forward to the pirate ship being finished. Look forward to coming back. Only downside was in the new shower block has no sluice facilities.
