Lake great, watersports great. Despite cool temperatures we got out on the lake. Due to the weather the bank was slippy and muddy so needed to be careful not to fall over which I almost did a few times. Hire of equipment is very expensive - cheaper to buy own second hand. Some gravel at the entry points would improve this. Really waterlogged site due to bad weather, muddy throughout, muddy in showers and toilets and also in pod. No mop available to keep on top of dirt. Cars near us were wheel spinning and getting stuck in mud at night making a racket in trying to get free. Mud caked everything. Mattresses in the pod were old and worn with metal springs sticking into back without sufficient padding. Led to a really unfomfortable nights sleep and bad back and neck ache by morning. I wouldnt stay in a pod again due to this. The pod pricing was reasonable and the pods were relatively spacious. Once the mattresses are replaced glampers could have a good nights sleep

Was a very wet weekend so the campsite was very wet & muddy. Positives - the pod we slept in was amazing, very warm, comfortable beds and exceeded expectations. The clubhouse is great to have, especially when the weather isn’t good and the food was really nice. Negatives - the ground was like a bog in places and I don’t feel enough was done to remedy this - our friends were camping and it was a trial to walk over to them from our pod. Even with wellington boots on we slid and got stuck in the mud. The toilets were cleaned really well but within an hour of the cleaners leaving they were really muddy again - more mats to wipe your feet would have helped. The shower i used(the block behind the clubhouse) was lukewarm and you couldn’t make it any hotter.

Showers and toilets could have been cleaned a bit more especially on such a wet and muddy weekend. Also the hot water didn't work in the morning but was fixed after a few hours. It would have been nice to see staff out and about to ask any questions to.The pod was a lot bigger than expected but where the heaters were was very dusty

Had a great time, with family and friends. The facilities were great, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Loved the 'pod'!

Ideal. Close proximity to lake for ease of paddleboarding and kettle and electric. Only downside was that all of the group found the mattresses very uncomfortable with the springs. Maybe time to update the mattresses.

The pod and shower block were very clean and had everything we needed. All of the facilities and staff were top notch!

Camping pod was perfect - great to have comfortable beds and power points.Whole site felt child friendly and safe…..Great range of water activities and good to be able to hire pedalos, paddle boards etc, tho expensive compared to places such as Lake 86 at South Cernay lakes.Great cafe with good food……. Would have liked a few healthy options on menu such as salads please!

I felt the place was a bit tired and could do with sone tlc in areas.Had an issue with our pod with wasps nest, we were given another pod but we had to move at our inconvenience with not much of any apology. Also had a filthy kettle which had not been cleaned.Grass was overgrown around pods and toilet block full of cobwebs not that clean in places with overflowing shower.Lake nice and cafe good so would recommend from that perspective but wouldn’t rush back.

The location, the lake, range of activities and staff were all great. We all said how much we enjoyed our trip, except for the toilets and showers. We stayed in the camping pods by the lake and the toilets and showers were constantly dirty, to the point where it was hard to feel comfortable showering in such a dirty room with a blocked toilet full of poo in the next stall. Not good at all. Please clean these facilities at least 3-4 times a day, not once a day it seemed to be being done. Other than that we enjoyed and would have stayed again.

Great venue for water activities. Helpful and friendly staff. Glamping pod was comfortable and clean. Would recommend.
