We enjoyed our stay in the chalet it was clean and comfy. This our second visit to the park Just a couple of things. In the shower a shelf of or hanging basket Could do with thicker pillows as they went flat The cigarette bin regular emptied when new lets arrive it looked like we were Chainsmokers and none of us smoke

Were in between houses and this was an ideal stop gapVery clean and plenty parking

The key to the front door did not work therefore did not lock. The heater in the bathroom is missing the fitting to adjust the temperature. The bedroom door did not close. For elderly people the park is not walking distance to anything as advertised

We are so happy we chose to stay here. The accomodation was immaculate and the photos didn’t do the cabin that we stayed in (or the park overall) justice! Staff were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

While the staff were very helpful the facilities within the chalet were minimal. In Islay, a chalet advertised as being for 5, there were just 4 glasses, 4 chairs, bowls as flat as plates, no oven-mitt, tiny saucepans but an enormous frying pan, blunt knives, not a single hook to hang coats, towels or other clothing, no coffee table or bedside tables, no bedside lights, a large freezer but small fridge, no container for compost (despite a note asking for environmental awareness!) Surely nobody needs a TV in every room or do none of your visitors read? A pop-up shelf next to the bed would have made a big difference, as would a quiet effective in fan in the bathroom. Leaving the single chalet key under the pot for cigarette butts didn't make us feel that the possessions we left in the chalet were at all safe.

Stayed as we were meeting some family in Glasgow. The chalet was fantastic and we had a really good time for a very reasonable price. We will definitely return.

The Red Deer Holiday Village is in a great location for catching a train in to Glasgow or Edinburgh, it's just a 10 min walk to the station. We found the park to be really clean and tidy and it was great that they allowed dogs.
