Buttercup is a spacious, comfortable glamping yurt in Chipping Campden, North Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Buttercup can accommodate 5 people in a king bed, 1 double futon and 1 day bed (travel cots available). Bedding can be pre-booked (not towels) and a wood-burner, sheepskin rugs, blankets and throws will keep you snug and warm. Solar power lights and fairy lights add to the cosy atmosphere in the evenings and the circular crown floods the yurt with light by day.

Buttercup Yurt is dog-friendly and has a fenced paddock enclosing the yurt, firepit and hammock. Up to 2 dogs are welcome - more by agreement only.

You have a spacious, private bathroom close by with electric shower, flushing toilet, sink, soap, hand towel and hairdryer. You can leave your toiletries and belongings in the bathroom as you will be the only ones using it during your stay. There is a well-equipped utility room offering your own fridge, a shared microwave, large washing-up sinks and containers to store your food.

Outside you can cook up a feast while you enjoy the views in our little cook-hut (all pans, crockery and cutlery provided) or you can be adventurous and create something delicious over the campfire. We also have a cob pizza oven (called Bob) who cooks the most amazing pizzas. We host regular pizza parties and encourage everyone to get involved in making their own edible masterpiece. We provide the dough and homemade sauce and let you bring your choice of toppings.

Our glampsite is in the top field of our 5 acre small-holding in the North Cotswolds, ideally situated just outside Chipping Campden. We have free-range chickens wandering around the place. We are surrounded by farmland with sheep, cows, ducks and chickens nearby.

It is a 20-minute stroll into the market town of Chipping Campden where you will find a great choice of pubs, restaurants, bistros, tearooms and delicatessens, independent shops, galleries and museum. The historic market hall, architecture and range of houses and cottages in the honey-coloured Cotswold stone makes it a very attractive town.

We are within a short drive of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bourton-on-the-Water and other picturesque Cotswold towns and villages. Family attractions such as Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park and All Things Wild are nearby and dog-friendly Batsford Arboretum. There are many good play parks in the area too and some wonderful footpaths.

Jane and family hope to welcome you soon.
