"Great family site"

We stayed in a camping cabin and was impressed with all the things included. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of space and storage. Shower and toilet blocks were very clean and lovely hot water we also hired a bath as my daughters don't like showers so added bonus having a bath. Girls loved the dinosaur trail, park and swimming pool. Shop onsite selling anything you have forgotten and pocket money treats. Lodge had great food and games and colouring sheets to keep children entertained whilst we waited for food.

We wanted a cheap, well located park with a few things to do for the children and Bucklegrove ticked all the boxes. Having a children's play area, swimming pool and even dinosaur trail meant they were more than happy. The kids also loved the Easter hunt they did with other children staying on the site. Our cabin was brilliant and we loved it so much we've rebooked to visit again in August.

We booked a camping cabin at fairly short notice as it was close to both Wells and Cheddar. We did not expect much but were very pleasantly surprised. The cabin was a really good size, lovely comfy bed, evetyhing u need, toilet facilities a short walk. The park was quiet so we had no problems with the shower blocks or washup. However they are quite small so could see them being a little problematic when camping field is full, however they were very clean Ideally situated between cheddar and wells, the facilities were nice, food in the lodge inn was excellent and fairly priced as was drink. If you are in the area then a visit down the road to the cider barn is a must do. Overall a lovely relaxing weekend and we will definitely be booking again

Accommodation was clean, well equipped and the mattresses for the bed were very comfortable. our accommodation was very close to the swimming pool, bar and restaurant and toilets. It was nice that there was a children's play area right next to the bar/restaurant so you can sit outside and see your children play. We had Sunday lunch and it was lovely. Definitely worth the money! The washing up facilities were nice and clean. The children enjoyed the family bathroom available for baths, maybe a bottle of disinfectant spray available for you to wipe the bath out after use would have been nice. Showers and toilets were clean and nice. There's a little shop onsite which has pretty much everything you need, if not the site is not far from a Sainsbury's and a Tesco express. Close to wookey hole and other attractions although plenty to do on site. We will definitely be staying again.

"Minor tweaks"

J Cheeseman - Stayed with partner, Jun 2017

Stayed in one of the basic cabins! Did the trick for a roof over head that wasnt a tent! Couple of minor tweaks would have made it better. 1. Cabin could do with a paint they are looking very tired albeit structurely sound. 2. Cob Webs absolutely everywhere inside... Stayed in one of the basic cabins! Did the trick for a roof over head that wasnt a tent! Couple of minor tweaks would have made it better. 1. Cabin could do with a paint they are looking very tired albeit structurely sound. 2. Cob Webs absolutely everywhere inside and out could do with a good dust, felt like they had opened it for the first time this season and not cleaned since the end of last. 3. Double gas burner - possibly time to invest in a new one! Worked but very rusty! Other than that it did the trick and would be suitable if you want something simple and dont mind walking to the toilet!
