Boutique Lodge

Our boutique lodge was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The outdoor ‘picnic’ area (which is sheltered) is a great addition and perfect given the changeable Irish weather! The food at the Lakehouse was good value for money and very convienient. The kids enjoyed... Our boutique lodge was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The outdoor ‘picnic’ area (which is sheltered) is a great addition and perfect given the changeable Irish weather! The food at the Lakehouse was good value for money and very convienient. The kids enjoyed all the facilities on offer which we had booked in advance. Some small changes would be helpful for future visits including 1. Hooks on the back of the bathroom door and a toilet roll holder 2. A blind on the velux window upstairs 3. A proper outside doormat and a second mat inside the lodge door 4. Additional hooks on the back of the storage closet door. We are already looking to book our summer trip to Hidden Valley 😊.

The ball on the water you had young staff a young girl and a guy. We were told water park opens at 1030 inwas standing dr woth my 3 sons youngest 4 and none of them 2 of the staff explained the balls were letting the air out after 10 minutes in the rain I asked Sorry... Communication is key 🗝 I rang the phone another time to ask to speak to a super viser and the girl that answered the phone did not want to give her name I asked 3 times and tan she gave her name . When answering the phone they should be professional and say hello hidden valley and dr name ***** Also having a security guard on duty to stop teenagers hanging around would be a massive benefit I stayed in boutique 5A and my children who are 11 10 and 4 went to the shop around the corner dr were boys hanging around dr and pushed my oldest son. If security was on duty they would not be left loitering unless in view of a parent. Same happened

The cabin itself was lovely , but the entertainment was terrible , music didn’t work at disco , all activities booked which left kids crying , monster mash was brutal , bonfire was brutual we had to look from a bridge , when eating in restaurant staff asked us were we... -4pm is far too late for people to check into their lodge. My family were booked into splash valley at 1pm finished same at 2.30pm arrived to check in to have a fresh shower and was informed check in is 4pm this should be reviewed. Check is should be latest 2-3pm. -€100 holding deposit is extortionate to expect people to pay!!! I stayed last Saturday 23rd September and to date 28th Sept money has not been released back into my account. So stay is €200 but you must have at least €300 to be available to hold for at least a week to release same. Poor practice. I would not recommend Hidden Valley for an overnight stay in Lodge- I would book into a hotel down the road with breakfast built into price and check in at appropriate time. Following on from review can you please release my 100euro holding fee from my stay.

Cabins were great only suggestion would be from the likes of ourselves. We went with a 4 month old so we brought a travel cot. There wasn't any space really to place this except the door for under the stairs. A suggestion could be installing drawers under the bed... The lodge was clean and very comfortable. There was no parking available outside the lodge as promised by management and the reception person was powerless to change this. At 9.30pm children from the site started banging on our kitchen window and this continued for an... The lodge was clean and very comfortable. I rang the phone line looking for assistance but nobody returned my call or responded to my request for security to alleviate the situation. One of the children who was with me is a very nervous child and she spent the entire night frightened.

Staff were either on their phones or chatting to other staff members. Serious health and safety issue here esp at the bumper boasts and pedal boat areas. Staff were rude and unhelpful, booking system requires you to book online prepay and then check in elsewhere to... Staff were either on their phones or chatting to other staff members. Staff were rude and unhelpful, booking system requires you to book online prepay and then check in elsewhere to get a band so they know you’ve paid. Doesn’t make sense. Children left waiting for a band for half the time if the activity even thought we had a qr code with date and time on it and only one session a day doesn’t make sense. Staff late to check people in for an activity causing activity to start late but no time added on at the end and no soap at the downhill tubes to help and when the kids asked for some they were told it’s all gone. Staff using inappropriate language on front on children. I did email hidden valley about this and wa still booking was so staff know you have paid none of my other concerns were addressed and when I said obviously a internet booking activity requires prepayment I never got a reply

Very clean and friendly excellent staff very good theme park kids really enjoyed it except my meal my salad in the restaurant had plastic in it but everything else was excellent

I came here for a night with my partner and three kids we stayed here last year also it’s a brilliant places for the kids they enjoyed every minute of it didn’t want to come home. We stayed in the boutique lodges so much space, park is very clean, the restaurant wait... We stayed in the boutique lodges so much space, park is very clean, the restaurant wait time for food was half an hour but the food was fab and staff in the restaurant were great and so friendly. Reception staff and some staff operating the activities could be abit more helpful and friendly. It would be great to see returning customers receive a special offer discount to book again. Looking forward to our next trip 🙂

The campsite has great facilities and is kept very clean. The staff we encountered are all friendly and helpful.. We found The boutique lodge was perfect for us. The campsite is well situated to go out and about exploring what’s around. The children loved the on-site... The campsite has great facilities and is kept very clean.
