Set in 10 acres of private ancient woodland on the Hampshire/Berkshire border is our small and unique dog friendly glampsite. Only 45 minutes from London and 40 minute from the South Coast we are perfectly placed for a special and relaxing break. We have two sweet little vintage styled pods and 2 huge 6 meter Bedouin and Moroccan styled bell tents set in a magical woodland clearing.

The woodland is peaceful and magical, full of wildlife and surrounded by countryside on the edge of a pretty village.

Our village has a shop, post office and three pubs within walking distance, a beautiful old flint church and farmers market on the last Saturday of the month.

There are many local attractions such a Bucklebury farm park, frequented by princess Kate and her children, Downton Abbey aka Highclere Castle, The Bombay Sapphire Distillery, Watership Down, the lovely market towns of Newbury, Hungerford and Marlborough, various museums and outdoor attractions,

Glampers have full access to the woodland to explore.

Each pod has electricity and contains everything needed for a luxury self-catering stay, including all cooking eating and washing up equipment, electricity, heating, fridge, bedding and towels, vintage china, tea making facilities, Little under cover cooking station with charcoal BBQ and gas stove. Everything on site is drinking water so all you need to bring is yourself, your personal belongings and what you would like to eat and drink!

Each pod has a double bed and two pull out z beds for young children supplied with all bedding. The zbeds take up the floor space during the night and pack away easily during the daytime. Just note that if full human occupancy there isn't a lot of space for any dogs! small dogs will be fine!

There is an undercover seating area, firepit, and maze of passages in the woodland for children to charge safely around, seeing they can find the hidden tyre swing in the centre of the woodland!

The pods are set in a small clearing around a firepit with log seating.

Each pod has it's own lovely shower room with hot shower and flushing loo, loo roll included

Each pod has its own private seating area, we also have a beautifully hand built communal undercover seating area.

Torches are a must! Our planning permission only allows lighting in the pods to protect the nocturnal wildlife and we are in the AONB, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and one of the last dark places in England without any light pollution at all!
