An Oasis of Tranquillity in Cornwall, Ruthern Valley Camping Pods (with electric) sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children, a fantastic wooden tent to keep you warm and dry – you do need to bring all your camping gear except the tent; they are not equipped but the camping pods offer a convenient alternative to the tent and retain all the ambiance of the ‘camping holiday’. They are set in designated areas within the site and they are ready and waiting for you with more privacy than a tent and much more comfort for family glamping on the Cornish coast!
Outside they have wooden decks to sit out on, cook and enjoy the beautiful Cornwall countryside.
If you book to go glamping in Cornwall you will find woodland walks right on your doorstep and Ruthern Valley Camping Pods are in an ideal location, central to all Cornwall has to offer.
Hire a bike right from the shop and cycle to the Camel Valley Vineyard, Grogley Woods or Bodmin Gaol! If cycling isn't your thing you can chill on some of the best beaches along the Cornish coast or take advantage of this location for glamping to visit the Eden Project, the infamous millennium project in Cornwall.
Sea spray on the north coast, balmy breezes in the south, scrumptious Cornish food, wild moor ponies and mysterious quoits. Cornwall has so much in store for you.

As we were in a pod, I was pleased to find that there was a freezer, microwave & kettle available to use, conveniently by the washing facilities. The facilities were clean , 3 of the showers well laid out, so no wet shoes, water very hot & the site is tidy well run, and reasonably quiet. Plentiful car parking was available right next to the pod, which was surrounded by trees.I took my two Grandsons, in turn. The younger enjoyed the playground, the woods & animals both wild & penned, and the stream which runs across the road from the campsite. We spent a fair amount of time around the Bishops Wood car park, which was a lovely picnic spot, just across the Camel River from the Camel Trail. I took the older cycling along the Trail, and the cycle to the Trail was pleasant, with few cars and not arduous.I once stayed overnight at this site, when doing a 260 mile cycle to Perranporth. The owners were then & still are very accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Ruthern Valley Holidays. The campsite is set in a beautiful and peaceful landscape, which made it a very relaxing place for our family holiday. The site was quiet, well kept and had sufficient facilities for our needs, including toilets, showers and washing-up areas. Parking was also sufficient and convenient. The location is good for enjoying the surrounding countryside and exploring nearby attractions. Overall, we felt it was good value for money and a nice place for a family break. One small suggestion would be to improve the lighting or indication lights around the campsite at night, especially on the way to the toilets and showers. It was quite dark after sunset, so guests should remember to bring their own torch or headlight when going out at night.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the campsite to families who like a quiet and natural environment.

After a long 7 hour drive and arriving early. The staff accommodated us an allowed us to have access to the pod straight away. The facilities were spotless, brilliant value for money and in a lovely quiet tranquil spot.

Hi.We were on holiday for the third time in this place when we go to Cornwall, it's a peaceful, quiet place. There is access to a washing machine which is great. The only problem we had is that there wasn't a place we could hang our towels after the bath.

We stayed in the electric glamping pod. Really lovely stay. The toilet and showers were immaculate and the shower facilities were above done I’ve seen in a hotel and they were nice and close to our pod. Really enjoyed our stay we are thinking of coming back in a couple of weeks. Very close to beaches if you don’t mind driving half hour or an hour. Loved the friendly robin’s and wildlife that were around as well. Very friendly hosts also thankyou so much.

Thoroughly enjoyed a quiet night away with my daughter staying in the electric camping pod which was presented beautifully and I had not expected lighting and a carpet as well as heating and Wi-Fi!The site itself was well maintained and very much appreciated the amount of space around our pod including parking spaces and a picnic table

Solo traveller down viewing cottages to buy. Had a good nights sleep and made friends with a cute gecko at the shower block (common lizard). Recommend the site. Thank you

Had a brilliant time, incredibly fit for purpose and more. My only one gripe was the electric camping pod did smell of damp but after a couple hours airing out was perfectly fine. Will definitely recommend and be back.
