We stayed at Ribblesdale last year & it was great. This year however it was disappointing. During the course of Friday to Sunday, not one member of staff comes to the field to check/clean/replenish the toilets and shower facilities which is hosting 15 glamping tents? They also have a large wedding venue behind the site which meant that we were kept awake until 11:30pm with young children. The rules for glamping guests are 10pm-7am quiet hours however we had the hurrendous noise of rock bands at the wedding into very late. Nothing was done about it. Surrounding the tents is very unkept, lots of overgrown grass. Inside the tents, the quilts are very thin. They are also very stained & need a major uplift. For the money we paid I wouldn’t stay again.

We had a brilliant stay but we was really really cold during the night as we stayed in the teepee some family members had to leave a day earlier as it was just too cold in the teepee during the night for the children but we no next time to pack extra bedding apart from that everything else was great

We stayed with all our family using 9 teepees that itself was in the night was freezing and went really damp making the bedding damp and very uncomfortable. We abided by the 10pm noise to be quiet but unfortunately for a us their was a very loud music wedding comming in the site right next to our teepees all you could you hear was drums and guitars really loud until after 11 which kept the kids awake we did ask for noise levels to be dropped but that didn’t happen The shower and toilet facilities were very clean So unfortunately due to the teepees being way they were of a night we will not stay in them again some family ate in the resturaunt and said food was nice and fresh was nice to see deer and peacocks roaming round the site overall was a lovely stay except for the wedding noise and coldness and damp in the teepees maybe a little heater could be added

Glamping with family we had 9 tents between us for family break the tents were absolutely freezing through the night and soaking wet even the bedding worst nights sleep ever it was August so summer month and I’ve never been as cold and wet in them, 4 of our tents including myself went home Saturday morning as we didn’t want to spend another night in them totally ruined our family break spent £230 for 1 night of hell, made complaint straight away through email and still haven’t had reply so customer service is as bad as the accommodation

I was really disappointed with our stay and, unfortunately, I didn’t feel that the experience was worth the £265 we paid.In particular, I was very surprised by the £50 additional charge for bringing our dog. For that price, I was expecting there to be something included for the dog, such as a blanket, treats/biscuits or at least some kind of additional dog-friendly provision. In reality, it felt like we had simply been charged an additional £50 without receiving anything extra in return.I also paid £15 for a camping bed for my 13-year-old son, but the bed provided wasn’t really suitable for him to sleep on. Given the additional cost, I expected this to be a proper, usable sleeping arrangement.I was also disappointed by the facilities in the tent. The tent was very cold, and for accommodation advertised as a Luxury Bell Tent, I expected there to at least be some form of heating. There was also nowhere suitable to hang or dry wet clothes and towels, which was particularly imp

Hi we really enjoyed our stay.Only thing I would say Is a cheaper breakfast takeaway option ,inky thing missing really. Normally when we go glamping they do bacon butties or take away pizzas ( easy food) for campers.Also people complained about the brightness of lights through night so maybe some disposable eye masks and ear plugs to help people sleep better.Heater or fans also.ThanksAbbie

We came for the weekend glamping for my son’s Biirthday, it was a perfect weekend. Kids absolutely loved it, plenty of room to run around and explore. Toilets and showers were clean. We had a little bbq the first night and also went to the restaurant for lunch one day and wow it was delicious! They also had a live singer outside. We had the perfect weather so the kids also enjoyed the outdoor pool. Nothing was ever any trouble , staff were very helpful. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for my sister's wedding, it was a beautiful venue, the house was immaculate and we stayed in a glamping pod which was in lovely area and very comfortable.

Well maintained grounds, with clean and well equipped Bell Tents. Delicious food in Hindilinis. A couple of points that could have really improved our stay and added to the overall experience. - Understanding that you will have large groups, these should be more closely monitored. Noise reduction hours are stated as 8am - 10pm. On our first night the campsite was kept awake until 1am whilst a group partied, played football, music and shrieked. Only when we checked out did we ever see a member of staff present on the campsite and they were only there to do the cleaning turn around. - Pool use numbers were not kept to 20 people. Lifeguard was seemingly not able to assert himself and in need of training. - We stayed Friday to Monday, the campsite was fully occupied and the toilets and facilities were only cleaned on Monday. By Sunday morning the toilets were pretty unpleasant and bin overflowing. I would highly recommend that the facilities are serviced more frequently

We thought the tent and facilities etc were very good, but sadly a large of 'dads & lads' football families had booked most of the other tents. They really dominated the glamping site and partied loud until gone 12. I eventually rang the emergency number and someone came to speak to them but it was a bad start and we actually considered leaving the next day after little sleep and worrying about a 2nd bad night. I did have to ring the emergency line again the 2nd night. They also left the toilets in a mess after being sick and dog poo on the grass. It just wasn't quite what we were expecting but I appreciate it was probably bad luck regarding the group booking. Perhaps informing small families with young children about these bookings in advance could be an option, or insisting they book the whole site if they are such a large group. I know the other family felt the same as us after night one.
