Welcome to Gisburne Park Estate, one of Lancashire’s finest private estates, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. A 1000 acres of picturesque Ribble Valley countryside, owned and managed by Amber and Guy Hindley and family. Nestled within the Estate is Ribblesdale Park, the North of England’s leading hot tub holiday destination. A collection of contemporary lodges, historic houses, cosy cottages or glorious glamping.
Huntsman’s Cottage is now fully refurbished and open as a holiday cottage. Situated on the edge of the Estate in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty it was built in 1678.
The cottage will sleep up to 8 people in 4 generously sized bedrooms. These bedrooms feature 1 super kind, 2 kings, and a twin bedroom. There is a house bathroom upstairs and each bedroom has a TV and DVD player. Downstairs is a large sitting room with a log burner and TV. There is also a spacious dining room and a kitchen with everything you need. There is also a shower room and loo and a utility room with a washer dryer. Outside there is a 1/2 acre garden, fenced off which is all yours to enjoy. Here is where you will find a luxury 6-person hot tub.
This cottage oozes all the charm and character you would expect from a listed country cottage; oak beams, asymmetrical walls, log burners and creaky floor boards. Its situated on the edge of an old farm and livery yard so if you don’t like animals then this isn’t the place for you…there are chickens, ducks, horses, ponies and all sorts down there.

Upon arrival at the Huntsman cottage it was clean and tidy. Plenty of space for us all. Lovely and cosy. Added benefit of the outdoor hot tub which was enjoyed by everyone in the cool weather. We were shown to the cottage which helped. We would give the cottage 5 stars. On the Saturday evening we went to Hindelinis restaurant which we were looking forward to. We were left disappointed after the visit. The service was just ok, we felt like the staff couldn't be bothered. Glasses left in table not cleared, menus left and not taken awsy, not enough cutlery for our party. We had to request more. We just felt a bit deflated after it.

Fantastic from start to finish. Stayed in Huntsmans Cottage and was great, very quiet location, very warm and very clean and everything spot on. Hindelinis was excellent and food and service very good as always and all the staff super friendly. Good rural walks for my dog and Skipton and Clitheroe only a short drive away and Gargrave a lovely little village. Of course will be booking again and you have to visit if you have not been. Highly recommend.

The place as a whole was lovely and the space around our cottage (Huntsman) an absolute treat. It is set away from the main site but that whilst it meant you would have to drive to the main site still gave the pleasure of feeling like you were in the true countryside which our Grandchildren especially enjoyed. Food at the restaurant was a treat too and lovely to see peacocks and deer wondering around and happy to say hello. Staff in person were very helpful but the only disappointment was the lack of communication from the main office I.e having to chase several times for confirmation of add ons prior to our stay and some issues with facilities at the cottage - a feeling almost as if the requests were a burden. If everything had been dealt with online when we made the original booking this likely wouldn't have been an issue and we did make it a point information about the cottage I.e WiFi code was lacking. A welcome book would rather than a bar code with little info would hel

We have a lovely week in the Huntsman cottage, it was our family and our friends and the in family together. The house was immaculate when we first arrived, there were two bottles of Prosecco which was a lovely gift. The staff who came daily to check the facilities were always so helpful and friendly, lovely men! The food in the main reception was amazing and not overpriced! Our pets loved every second! Along as us hoomans & children, we would absolutely come back and would rate this company and our stay as 5*!!Thank you for having us!

Stayed at the Huntsman, couldn’t fault the cottage it was warm and well equipped, lovely, although some bigger bowls would be nice. Accessibility, long way from any Ribblesdale facilities. So a car is needed all the time. Can’t even walk anywhere as the roads to it are very narrow. Hot tub reviews in January and May 24, said the lid was damaged and falling to bits. First time we used it, it did fall to bits. But the hot tub itself, was well maintained and checked daily by staff. Hindelini’s food was lovely, had 3 lunches there!. La Locanda Italian was excellent lovely food. The White Bull food was nice too. Overall we had a great time with close friends for a 70th Birthday.

We had a fabulous stay. The Hubtsman cottage was wonderful - had everything we needed. Just creaky but to be expected in a property over 300 years old. Hot tub was great we were very lucky with weather which made for a very happy experience. Although WiFi wasn’t brilliant we were informed it would be upgraded to fibre next month. Staff were extremely helpful and they were very quickly on hand if we needed help - as we did with car flat battery.
