Overall it was a good visit, we had some issues when we arrived with the hot water and the heating. After about 2 hours the team managed to get it fixed, although the pressure of the water wasn’t great. The WiFi was also pretty bad. After paying £15 for 2 days, we had no WiFi. After asking about it, I was told to “contact the WiFi company” but with no WiFi or signal, this was a pretty rubbish answer. No other support offered or alternative solution. So we went without.

Was a lovely place to stay. The little pod was really cosy and a great build, it’s aesthetically beautiful and has great facilities inside. The local shop was really nice and gives out games and DVDs to use. Was a beautiful area with nice walks and the fire pits were really nice to use. The local villages and towns are great to visit if you have spare time. Overall was a very pleasant stay, would definitely recommend!

Lodge was ideal for two people, clean and had everything required. Beds were comfortable. The window had supposed to have been left open to air but it had closed so it was quite stuffy and we needed to leave the door open for a while. The WiFi reception isn’t great however there was an option to pay £10, which I wouldn’t pay. The tv reception was poor so couldn’t watch not that we wanted to, but kids would probably want to. The only minor gripe is the communal fire pits which aren’t a bad idea except when they’re outside your lodge and people decide to try and relight them after they have been extinguished late at night.

We made a fairly last minute booking to be close to Alton for their Beer & Car festival and found Quarry Walk. It was well priced for the very neat and comfortable accommodation provided. The glamping pod was well equipped - more than we needed for our one night stay. The park looked well kept too and we would like to see what options we could book in the future for us as a family of 4 (when we visited it was just the 2 of us). Quick and easy into Alton and Cheadle from here.

We loved our stay from the moment we arrived. Easy to book in after hours. Impressive, well looked after pods with everything you could possibly need. An amazingly beautiful and peaceful place to just take a break from it all.

Our stay was really nice, we had more than we expected. It was quiet and secluded even though there were families with children. We completed a few walks. We really enjoyed the borrow of swap board games in the shop at reception. Our only issue was maybe needing a fan due to the hot weather, there was no escape from the heat but overall we will definitely be coming again and maybe with friends

My family and I (2 adults and 3 kids 9yo 7yo and 4yo) stayed in the Daisy pods for a few nights. There were only small pods available for the first night of our stay but we called directly and the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. They put us in two small pods next to each other. We then moved to a bigger pod and the staff happily moved our food and belongings while we were out.The pods were prefect. Good amount of space and utilities. The beds were very comfy! The campsite was respectfully quiet. The walks and park were great. The location was great. An all round good find!

My husband and I booked a glamping pod for the night and it was fantastic. Everything you need, comfy bed, small hob and fridge and it was very clean. The surroundings are beautiful and the woods and walks near by are fantastic. We loved it there so much when we got home we booked up again to stay in a lodge with the whole family! We also took our dog and there is lots of dog poo bins dotted around and a handy little shop on site. There is also a little Asda about a 5 minute drive from the site.

The place is fantastic and in such a great area. The stay was seamless and we had an absolutely brilliant time. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is the fact that we had someone stay in the pod opposite us that had music blaring all day every day until 11pm which ruined the stay really. However, that isn’t the parks fault but more the two women who don’t have respect for their surroundings.
